David Trezeguet is determined to overtake Omar Sivori and become Juventus' fourth all-time top goalscorer.

The 31-year-old scored his 164th goal for Juventus in Sunday's disappointing 1-1 draw with Bologna.

Trezeguet has now scored three goals in his last three games for Juventus.

He needs just three more to beat Sivori and take his place behind Roberto Bettega as Juventus' fourth top goalscorer of all-time.

After speaking about Juventus' disappointment at being held to a draw, Trezeguet said: “We have to work. We want to get back to winning ways and I also want to beat Sivori's record. He scored 167 goals. I have scored 164.”

Asked if he would get the chance to break it on Wednesday night against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Trezeguet replied: “The mister will choose. This is a group. When I score, Iaquinta is happy. When he scores, I am. And soon Amauri will get off the mark, too. And Del Piero is coming back.”

Trezeguet started on the bench yesterday afternoon, but he still has the best goal per game ratio at Juventus. (Football Italia is becoming worse and worse )

Trez has not proved anyone wrong, it's still the start of the season. According to Andy, Cannavaro still blows donk, is past it and if anyone think otherwise, he is a moron. Probably the same applies to guys who think Trez is past it.
