So first we had to endure everyone saying Trez is finished and he'd never score goals again. Elvin even bet his house that he wouldn't score more than 3 (he's halfway there already). Now that he has begun doing that, he's just not playing well at all. I suppose once his form improves from the match practice and his confidence from the goals, he still won't be anywhere near some people's standards for a whole host of brand new reasons.

And of course there is no agenda whatsoever behind this is there. Oh, except for calling out for him to be sold, haven't seen those posts this week. And these people have nothing but love for Trez, that much they reiterate. Right.

A new and completely unproven player would get less of a beating than Trez does right now. And yet it doesn't change the fact that he's the top scoring active striker in Serie A history on goals-per-game. And you're talking about playing in 10. Yes, well you know what, I have nothing against that when the 11th one is of the scoring caliber that Trez is. I gladly sacrifice some of that running around you like so much for some extra scoring. And so does Trez, which is why all his life he's focused all his attention on this activity. So that you can say one of the top strikers in Juve history (and Serie A history) just isn't really cutting it.

And do you know what? If I had the choice to be Trez or Amauri, do you know whom I'd pick? Trez.

And Juve loves him. :flag1:
:touched:

Can you see this guy leaving?, with celebrations like last night?. He loves Juve through and through.
Unfortunately, i believe that he has already made him mind on that!
But that doesnt means he doesnt loves us!
He will always love us no matter what and we ought to do the same!

Damn, and here I started multiquoting a bunch of nonsensical posts, figuring I have a lot of stuff to say and you put it all in a bombshell like this. The bolded part is just so right on the money. Why the heck do we have Melo, Poulsen, Sissoko, Marchisio if Amauri needs to do the running. Screw running, this ain't the Golden League.
Give me intelligence over mobility or workrate any day and twice on a CL day.

And you know what? Pippo is running all over the place like crazy, and they hate him too. And yet he keeps scoring all those goals that your grandma could score. Then why the f isn't your grandma out there?

You are mixing my posts with Elvin's. I never said Trezeguet is finished or he will never score goals, all I said is he is not back to his form, and because of two fucking lucky touch I wouldn't want him to start every match, jeez you guys are acting worse than Del Piero fanboys.. Trezeguet still needs time to be ready to play in big matches like Bayern Munich, because he simply is not back to his old form, once he is back, then sure play him. As for the 10-man games, Martin re-read my post, like I told you, if he is back to his old form and keeps scoring goals, I won't mind him play. Yeah he scored two lucky ones, but you all saw how terrible he was the match he played 90 minutes, you saw his volleys and
positioning.. As for the imbecile who keeps calling names, he should check how hypocrite he is for bashing Iaquinta. Iaquinta scored 5 goals (one dissalowed)
out of 5 matches, and yet he comes and talk to me about the goal rates.

We won't play players regularly or judge their current form based on their past history will we?

Everyone is obviously entitled to their opinion, but I don't think you can say yesterday's goal was "luck". We're talking about Trez here after all: 9 times out of 10 he is in the right position, at the right time.

As of this moment I would start him. We are not scoring dozens of goals every match, we *need* goals. And out of the players who are fit to play two are scoring and one is not. I pick the two who are.

Having a sense of history helps. For instance to dispel such nonsense as "lucky goals". Some percentage of all goals are lucky. Some percentage of all passes are lucky. Some percentage of all saves are lucky. And so frickin what? Are they any less crucial? Without that luck we'd have lost. So why minimize the impact of someone's achievement by saying it's just luck?

I can say you made a very good post just now. But it was just lucky. Ergo you deserve no credit for it. Is that fair?

I would pick Iaquinta over anyone, next to him I would pick Del Piero if he is fit, if not, I would start with Amauri, and use Trezeguet in the second half. playing him in the last minutes is helping somehow! As someone else mentioned, Iaquinta and Trezeguet duo might not work together, somehow I agree with that and I wouldn't bench Iaquinta for that!

I say it again, the last two goals he scored and specially the first one, was total luck. Bouncing from the keeper or was it the post and he had a terrible shot/pass I can't tell what was that, then in! I won't make him a king for that. As for the previous goals, those are nothing to do with luck, it has to do with positioning, just like Inzaghi's (which I rate him much higher than Trezeguet, I always did!), these are their job, to be in the right place in the right time, Inzaghi's positioning is much better than Trezeguet's, but Trezeguet's finishing is much better from harder positions, and I love mostly his volleys.

I am a huge fan of Trezeguet, his old performances, I love it when he scores, I love his celebration and all.. you guys make me look like I am hater, I would love to see him back to his old form, but he is not there yet, not even close, if that will make me a hater, then be it!

So you would rather play Amauri and not score than play Trez and score. Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
Amauri = ridiculous work-rate, low goals (this year anyway)

Trez = Lower work rate, looks like socring a few this year.

If theres one thing I hate its a low work rate striker, if theres another its a high workrate low scoring striker.

That's quite a pickle. Perhaps it's time to end it here before it gets any worse.
