I doubt Lyon are stupid enough to swap their Youth product for old product.
Direct swap is bullshit but cash + Trez is far more realistic & besides it would be a great deal for them as its pretty damn hard to get a proven goal scorer like Trez these days.

Id love for for Benzema to come in only if Trez wants out.Alas we all know its bullshit.

as Vlatko knows i absolutely love Trezie but he really should have kept his mouth shut on this, we all know that Juve is bigger than any player. though i can understand his frustrations, especially after just coming back from injury he is desperate to make an impact but he needs to remember that we have standards that we expect our players to adhere to and when a situation like this arrises then you keep your gob shut

Well to be honest, this is standard by the press. I personally think that his gestures pre-promotion in Serie B were a lot more 'personal' than this comment which is blown out of proportion.

yes but the fact is that Juventus have never had players who runto the press when anything is wrong, we always kept these matters "in house" and that is teh way we expect our players to act off-field.
trez has been here long enough to understand this, now i am not blasting him as he is one of my favourite players ever but he really should have known better

Perhaps, I even remember at some point we had a no-interviews, words to press policy at some point with the new management, I think that's when David did the sign no? I may have the time-frame completely wrong.

We never had silencia stampa with the current board, these are Moggi's antics.

i think david's comments were a reactionary outburst of how the rest of the team feels. an entire season has gone to waste in the serie A campaign due to injury and bad coaching. now the only thing that the players had left to fight for was again blown by bad coaching. this has got to take a toll on a certain players. we can all compare his actions to alex who kept his mouth shut but they are 2 totally different characters so no comparison can be made there. david is highly competitive and he knows that this club hasn't played for anything meaningful until our name was matched with chelsea for the 1st stage of the knock-out round. its gotta be frustrating for a player who has played for trophies and titles to not have a chance 3 years in a row to compete for anything.

-as excited as we were when we qualified for the CL last season, i bet david was 10x more exstatic.
-as excited as we were when we beat madrid and advanced to the second round, i bet david was 10x more exstatic.
-as excited as we were when we actually had a chance on our own field to beat chelsea to advance, i bet david was 10x more exstatic.
-and as pissed as we were when our best weapon was subbed out of the game to go a bit more defensive even though we needed a goal to stay in this and we still concede the killer blow, i guarantee you that david was 1000x more pissed and frustrated

Before you read my post further and jump on conclusions I am one of trezeguet's biggest fans. I believe that his partnership with Del Piero is one of the strongest in history. I think numbers speak for themselves.

Additionally, I do not believe that Ranieri is the brightest coach in the world. The famous DP/DC sub is just an example.

But to jump and say BAD COACHING, now I have to disagree. Give any coach in the world in any team in the world our injury crisis and lets see if he can do what we did this year. We were competing on three levels (Serie A, Coppa Italia and CL) with barely 11 players from our squad. Almost the same 11 +/- 2 players have played almost all the games of the season. We were playing without Buffon for a good portion of the season, trezeguet only featured in less than 5 Serie A matches so far, camoranesi is even worse. The injury list was so long that I forgot we hand some players (e.g. Zebina). Even our below average players like Knezevic were injured.

Ranieri, and the whole team, kept themselves united. Many thanks go to ranieri on this part. Additionally, he was making use of the very limited resources he had.
Under his coaching we topped the most difficult group in the CL in which we defeated Real Madrid home and away something we have never done before (in the same season).
Chelsea might not have the same strength they had last year where they finished 2nd in both PL and CL, never the less they are a pretty strong squad and are not going through any injury crisis. Additionally they have a very brilliant coach and a massive bank account to buy any player they wish to. In London we were not THAT impressive but we were good. We lost focus in the first 15 min in which we conceded the goal but afterwards we did well to create trouble for chelsea AND came very close in a few occasions to scoring the equalizer. We were very unfortunate not to get that goal. In the return leg we were without; Amauri (not 100% ready), Camoranesi, Marcchionni, Sissoko and Legro ALL are first 11 players. Not only that we lost Nedved in the first 10 min of the game. Brining in Hasan in for Nedved was a good coaching decision in my opinion we were playing with 3 men midfield if we brought in giovinco it would have been 2 men midfield against the likes of Lampard and Ballack. We openned the game, but at the end of the half we were unlucky to concede a goal from a deflection. Another problem we faced was the in correct red card to Chiellini half way through the 2nd half (before their second goal). We continued for more than 20 min playing with 10 players.

We barely got knocked out from Chelsea. And in my opinion Chelsea were very lucky to go through.
And the Serie A standing, well don't get me started on that. "Ref mistakes" are the only reason why Inter have more points.

Capello, a proven "winner", had the best squad in europe with almost no injury for two seasons what did he do? Nothing in europe. He got knocked out by both Arsenal and Liverpool due to BAD COACHING. He was too ignorant to know that Del Piero was out best forward and was subbing forwards with DMs when we needed to score.
Ranieri subbed Trezeguet to bring in Giovinco. And in case you have not noticed, we improved alot after this change. It was the right call.

I love trezguet and I think he is very decisive. I would never trade him in for another player, but you cannot blame Ranieri on this one.

I have all the respect for the things Ranieri is doing with us. With a very limited squad he is keeping us competitive.

Trezeguet was wrong to outburst to the media. These things should stay in the locker room.
