not a single coach came to juve and played with this tactics..

I wish that we play with 2 strickers and Del-piero or Gio are behind them, but i dont see that happening with an italian coach.

maybe because it does not work as a long term solution...Ale doesn't like to play behind the strikers, and we do not have the full backs who are capable enough to handle it

Alex has never said that he doesn't like to play behind strikers. He said during Donadoni time with the Azzurri team that he can't play on the wing..attacking from the deep left wing.

Playing behind strikers wouldn't be Ale but he can do it. Specially if someone like Seba playing alongside him.

But it is a waste of Del Piero to play him deeper.

There is also no chance that you will ever see Del Piero and Giovinco playing off two main strikers. It is just too attacking.

Thats true. Though I would have wanted Ranieri to try something like this for once to see how it goes.

Giovinco - Del Piero

Amauri/Trezeguet

Even that would end up playing more like:

Giovinco

Striker-Del Piero

Which is something I would like to see us try out at some stage.

Can I just say I used to LOVE it in the late 90s when Del Piero played as a Treqartista just behind the front 2 strikers. Fantastic stuff.

I have no recollection of Del Piero playing trequartista for any length of time.

Late 90's was primarily a Del Piero-Inzaghi front two wasn't it?
