AR! The great memories :D

Someone find the video where David sneeks up behind the keeper, when he thows it out he takes it and puts it in the net...
Yeah, I have the video but I didn't know what game that was. When I asked anout it here I was told that wasn't Trezeguet and Juve. It actually looked like it was in a English stadium though, maybe it was CL match.

Hi my friend from banana country...... do you know what is the football game and how it's played? :)
I doubted Trezeguet too before I saw his fans and videos in this forum. He is actually pretty good on his day and has scored a lot of goals against Inter, Milan and Madrid; he is not called Trezegol for nothing and a Milanista called him Trezegay last week that's because the Milanista rates him high. His goals out of nowhere, like after doing nothing the whole game, are also a delight to watch. He sucks at penalties, but still better than Giovinco Sr. :p

Now,let's start on football education that we give to all young guns on croatian playgrounds, among others there was igor Biscan....if you remeber,he kicked out Juve out of CL,neutralized Emerson & Viera and then disapeard on tennis courts of Athens....well,he's my little neighbour here.

This is a classic example of speed and ball handling that Trez doesn't have. Amauri here drew away first 2,then 3 defenders away, making space for at least one team mate in attack. For some of his reasons he decided too shoot rather than pass(judging the rest of Palermo's attack,I cant blame him). Trez can't do that. When you have a counter with 2 attackers it's like having one. Nedved goes up,sees DP and Treze....he can't pass to Treze cuz he simply doesn't know what to do with it so he'l kick it back to Molinaro. So,Neddy passes to DP who already has 2 defenders on to him. Trez makes DP look bad couple of years now. Pure logic concluded on watching football. Yesterday you could see another example of that when Amauri. Penalty. Molinaro tried a ball to Amauri who was standing out of the box,a place where is Trez useless and amauri rocks. He was closed down by one defender and then the second one that realized the danger. Even the third defender was so focused on Amauri outside the box he didn't realized DP was closing. That's how the penalty was won. Nobody would go double or even close down Treze in that position. Then, his speed with and without the ball is supreme. We can see that while he outruns whole Milan's defense for his header. Trez is rather slow last few years. He's more powerful that trez,in air,on ground and in his shot. Then,he recives the ball out of the box on the right side. two players come to close him down. That leaves DP with some free space in penalty box and De Ceglie wide open. DP uses space to send someone grass-hunting and with a bad luck hits the post. Trez can't do that even on playstation3. Amauri caps another finish.

Trez makes his flawless record against Reggina coming,Amauri makes the team better. You got All the proves up and here:

i like that you try to explain the thoughts behind your opinion.

here are people that will be biased by the goals trez already scored for juve so it is hard to convince them ...

i would like to differentiate trez and amauri a bit more.

in the most games we played this season, amauri really did add something to the team that trez could not.

amauri is great creating chances for himself and others, that is his true bonuspoint.

trezeguet on the other hand has a naturall goal instinct which brings him into positions that make it more easy for him to score. he has a great shooting technique and precision, perhaps a bit better then amauri (remember technique does not equal power)

if we come to the point where camo is healthy and we have a decent winger on the left and perhaps some left back that can play good crosses we might have a slight advantage with trezeguet, because he can poach like no other.

but as for now (without players that can cross (except de ceglie)) i agree that amauri is the striker to play...

i really don't want to be in ranieris skin once both are fit... it will be a really difficult decision, but with champions league we should have enough games to play to keep both content

Ehh,and i forgott, two of the best football nations in the world are fighting for Amauri.....Trez can't play in average france ;)
you know that this is bullshit. i at least think so by judging your smiley

One thing is for sure: Trez now has to fight for his place, just like DP did with Ibra (even tho Capello was extremely biased), I think we can count on CR's objectivity.
No more guarantees, if Trez is anything like DP he will deliver under pressure which would make him even more of a legend.

Trez is the classic center forward kind of a player. A guy sits inthe box and just waits.

In modern football, you see this role has been changed a little. CFs can't just sit and wait anymore. They nrrd to come out of the box, and make play.

On the long run or even the short one, you will see the likes of Trezy, Van Nestelroy and others disappear and more of Amauri, Etoo style.
