Trez is gunning for Borriello

Juventus hitman David Trezeguet admits that his goal last night was offside, but is focusing on the Capocannoniere crown.
The French international opened the scoring in the Bianconeri’s 3-0 win over Parma last night when he pounced to tap in after Mauro Camoranesi’s header had hit the post.
The Parma players were furious because goalkeeper Luca Bucci’s howler had left just Daniele Dessena between Trezeguet and the goal – rendering him offside.
“Obviously my goal was offside,” Trez declared on Sky Sport Italia. “But that’s just the way it goes.
“I hope I can continue like this and keep scoring so that I can win the Capocannoniere title, but I will have to see because Marco Borriello is having an extraordinary season at Genoa.”
Trezeguet now trails Borriello by one goal after taking his season’s tally up to 18.
Whether the former Monaco man can repeat this term’s exploits next year remains to be seen, but the likely arrival of Palermo star Amauri could reduce his impact.
“If Amauri arrived there would be no problems,” Trezeguet maintained. “Whoever is added to this squad will receive a warm welcome.
“Amauri is more than a menace to me, he is a superb striker and he would be an asset.”
