Nope it was offside. Normally when we see an offside, it's because the forward is beyond the last defender, but there is still the GK in front of him, meaning that for a player to be onside he must be behing 2 players of the oppsoing team before the ball is played to him. Only the defender on the line was in front of Trez.

But who cares? We won.

Trezeguet Must Go To Euro 2008 – Blanc

Former France hero Laurent Blanc has exclusively told Goal.com that David Trezeguet simply must go to Euro 2008.

Trezeguet

Trezeguet is considered as a doubt to make the French squad for Austria and Switzerland due to his hostile relationship with Coach Raymond Domenech.

"I think undoubtedly David has to go to the Euros,” said Blanc.

“Roger Lemerre once said that: 'David is one of those players who does not see the ball for 90 minutes and then will touch the ball once and score a goal.’

“You Italians know exactly what I mean, with the final of 2000.”

Trez is gunning for Borriello
Thursday 17 April, 2008

Juventus hitman David Trezeguet admits that his goal last night was offside, but is focusing on the Capocannoniere crown.

The French international opened the scoring in the Bianconeri’s 3-0 win over Parma last night when he pounced to tap in after Mauro Camoranesi’s header had hit the post.

The Parma players were furious because goalkeeper Luca Bucci’s howler had left just Daniele Dessena between Trezeguet and the goal – rendering him offside.

“Obviously my goal was offside,” Trez declared on Sky Sport Italia. “But that’s just the way it goes.

“I hope I can continue like this and keep scoring so that I can win the Capocannoniere title, but I will have to see because Marco Borriello is having an extraordinary season at Genoa.”

Trezeguet now trails Borriello by one goal after taking his season’s tally up to 18.

Whether the former Monaco man can repeat this term’s exploits next year remains to be seen, but the likely arrival of Palermo star Amauri could reduce his impact.

“If Amauri arrived there would be no problems,” Trezeguet maintained. “Whoever is added to this squad will receive a warm welcome.

“Amauri is more than a menace to me, he is a superb striker and he would be an asset.”

True but in his days with Juve he had that bald spot in the middle of his head with hair surrounding it , he never changed it untill he left Juve and went to Real . There he completely shaved everything off .

Fuck that nonsense. Boriello maybe having a great year but it will he will never achieve anything like this ever again. He will never be a top flight player for a contending side. Trez has proven time and time again that he is one of the best at his position in the world. He doesn't have to waste time chasing after a scoring title when he has more goals than Boriello has had people clap for him.

Great players let the game come to them

Fuck that as well, I love the French NT but as long as Douchey McDouchebag (aka our sweet dear friend R. Domenech) is at the helm, our game breaker doesn't need to waste time and energy on a fruitless campaign for a mutiny bound ship.

I don’t know how many times we have posted that he should not participate and just focus on Juve instead. But with idiots coming out every other week saying David should play keeps adding fuel to the fire.
