Juventus ready to make Trezeguet club's best paid

tribalfooball.com - November 09, 2006

Juventus are ready to make David Trezeguet the highest paid player at the club to keep him beyond the end of this season.
Trezeguet has been locked in talks over an improved contract with Juve since before their demotion to Serie B and with promotion all but assured, the board are determined to hold onto the French ace for their return to the top-flight.

Juve are ready to hand Trezeguet a bumper £3.75 million-a-year long-term deal, which would put him on par with Alessandro del Piero as the club's top earner. The offer is expected to be made to Trezeguet's management before the end of November.

Would be great if he stayed with us next season.
I read the news on a Dutch website also so even though it is tribal, this might mean it is true.

it would be fantastic if we manage to keep him, though if it means sacrificing buffon, definetly not. buffon must be our priority, hopefully our board knows that.

Trezeguet is a fantastic striker. You can bank on the fact that if it comes to the cruch he will deliver for Juve has he has done so many times in the past.

He definitely deserves to be paid that kind of money...hard to believe but he has been at Juve for almost 7 years...he still looks 22 to me!

I think Trez does suit Milan and Barca more, because they create so much that Trez would have a record season putting goals in.

If I were given a Kaka-Trez trade, I'd accept. Trez is a great out and out striker and the best finisher and volley of the game, but Im more concerned about loosing Buffon.

It is great that the French national coach didn't call him for the friendly match next week, because we need him without any injury...

The idiot called Higuain instead:D

but to get the best out of trezegol, we need a very creative and attaking minded midfielder who can create a lot of chances to him :smoke:

Good! I hope they do the same for Gigi. We need these players.
