Eeeer, 50% from 4 mil e is 2 mil € :D

What you're saying is that the tax system is 100%, which I dont think is possible.
I have seen this argument 100 times here, and actually I was thinking just like you, while I was told it is not like that.

4mil he gets tax free, and 4 goes for tax. so 8 mil is the deal, he gets 50%

If it was 2 mill for him alone, then that would have been a good deal.

This is what I found.

Code:
Rank League Tax(New Tax)

1 England 40.00%
2 Spain 24.00%
3 Italy 43.00%
4 Germany 45.00%
5 France 40.00%
6 Russia 13.00%
7 Ukraine 15.00%
8 Holland 60.00%
9 Romania 16.00%
10 Portugal 42.00%

And BTW, who says we're paying the taxes. I was just reaading about taxes in England, and they mentioned Arshavin who wanted a bigger contract because the tax went up and they pay their own taxes.

So it would mean that actually footballers who play in England would make more money if they played for us as we would pay their tax? It seems a bit strange to me that clubs in Italy would pay the taxes but clubs in England would not. That would mean the players can make more money in Italy?¸

It's not about who pays or not, there is a sum and in this case it is 8mil or 7, 4 goes for the player and 3-4 goes to government, you can choose the payer yourself. At media news, when X player is mentioned that he earns 4 million, it means net 4mil, the rest goes for gov. Italian team presidents always complained about this, because they say they can't pay huge salaries like they do in Spain, because the taxes are very high in Italy.

I am telling you how the taxes are high in Italy, almost the double figure (which makes half of the total, same thing it is half or the double thing, depends from who's side you are viewing which means half of the total, or double of the after-tax). Plus it was Gian who came out that Pirlo's 4 million deal is after the tax (for player) and not me, go argue with him :D

Players make more in Spain (not sure about Italy). In England if someone get's a 4m a year it's 2m for his pocket, so if players takes 4m home after tax, he gets paid 8m from the club.
This is why if a player from Spain wants to come to go to England and keep the same wages, his English team will have to pay him more.

I might be wrong, but this is the way I understand it.

The only sadness is that Marotta let him go and stil payed for his wages while he got us Toni who's earning more then Trez will at his new club.
I can't really say it because no player is bigger then Juventus but there is a part of me hoping that Trez wil rape our defence and shows Marotta what mistake he made by letting him go.
