I think almost everyone here taking this pretty far....

Elvin... You might not be a fan of Trezeguet(which is normal) just like many others weren't/aren't fans of Pavel or Ale or even Buffon you name it. But sometimes we have to show a bit of respect at least to the player that gave his everything and even sticked to the team in good and bad.

Personally, I'm never that much of a fan of Trezeguet's style and Camoranesi(each one got a diff taste in football), but I love them both pretty much and it will be heartbreaking the day they will leave or retire. I think from this point we should accelerate to agree, another example, Pesso, was never a big fan of his style, but I respect and love Pesso like a mad man and appreciate ever thing he did for us.



Others arguing with Elv..... The man made a simple prediction and it's getting silly to keep pointing out the 3goals things and repeating the same thing... name me one single member here that doesn't make a silly prediction or throwing a prediction just for the sake of an argument?

No one here is obliged to love David just like no one was ever obliged to love Del Piero, Conte, Ferrara etc, but the most important thing is to respect the players that gave a lot and still giving to the team....

Allow me to give my last example, Zambrotta, I doubt if there was a single fan that didn't like his style but the moment he left the team and went to Barcelona and then to Milan looking at the circumstances he's been hated and disliked ever since and will never win our respect again....

It's about respect and not loving the player by force....

Btw here's my prediction (just because it's fun): Trez gets into a hot streak of form and starts scoring all kinds of goals. Elvin suddenly gets behind him completely, saying stuff like "THAT's what I was talking about the whole time, finally he's doing it!!!" And the rest of us go "he's not doing anything different than he's always been doing".

Stop making a big deal out of it Martin really.... Amauri went for over 6months without scoring who would have thought of this? Had someone predicted at that time that Amauri wouldn't score more than 3 goals in 5months we would have laughed at him.

People make silly predictions, check the Dp thread, Serie A thread, other players threads.... It's because we are all biased at some point and we are sharing this in an argument.

It was an absurd prediction, that I agree with, but I don't think he predicted that just for a troll at first, I think he simply saw an off-form Trezeguet passing through bad period..

There were times where I predicted Ale not scoring over 13 14 goals couple of years ago and he scored over 22 +. It happens.


Ohh and Elv, if you're reading this, try not to make a prediction anymore just to avoid these atmosphere over, you could have at least increased the figure from 3 to 7 or 8 to be a worth prediction, lol

Well I don't know Amauri that well. It was surprising to me too, but he's not exactly proven at the top level scoring wise.
