Trezeguet was close to Milan

David Trezeguet was close to leaving Juventus to sign for Milan this summer, claimed agent Antonio Caliendo.
The Frenchman, who has long been unsettled in Turin, is still set to move on and could leave the Bianconeri next January.
“David was really, really close to the Rossoneri but he didn’t want to upset the fans and go against the Board’s will,” revealed Caliendo.
“I think that he won’t sign for them now, at least for this year they have no chance to get him. But in the future you never know.
“The transfer market is always unpredictable but I think he will stay until June and then go. His comments over a possible return to France or Argentina were a way to tell the Board to be prepared to sign someone else.
“He is used to be a protagonist so sitting on the bench is not ideal and it hurts him. But Juventus play week in week out and there should be enough space for him too.”
