Tuttosport (not that I trust them completely) seemed very certain of Trezeguet's departure yesterday and this saddens me. However, I understand his desire to fulfil his Champions League ambition elsewhere, because he is not getting any younger. If he does leave, I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes. No matter what happens a big part of him will always stay with Juventus.

elvin stop talking crap man. loosing his touch? how exactly do you figure that? by him being our top scorer last season and this one(so far anyway) ?

if trez wants to leave he should by all means be sold, but he is willing to stay under the terms buffon, camoranesi and him have stated, i see nothing wrong with that, everyone wants us to be competitive next year.

xcen3x, hvala. ;)

Nice, +REP

It would be nice to have Trezeguet AND Klose, with Del Piero and Palladino hanging around.

Sell Zalayeta, Miccoli and Bojinov.

I'll talk to you next season, biatch :D

But seriously tho, I think he doesn't play with heart anymore... IMHO
i don't think any of our stars are playing with "heart", they are all pros though and are playing to get us back to where we belong. anyone can say what they want, it is a new experience and all, but no one is enjoying playing in serie b.

Trez thinks about future

David Trezeguet will see out the season with Juventus before making a decision on his long-term future.

Following the club's demotion to Serie B, several big names left Stadio Delle Alpi, but Juventus were able to hang on to Trezeguet.

Lyon made a concerted effort to sign the striker and remain keen to recruit the France international, whose contract expires in 2008.

Trezeguet acknowledged the interest from the French champions and admits he is unsure what to do at the end of the season.

"Lyon was not alone in contacting me," Trezeguet told France Football. "There were contacts from everywhere.

"But when Juve refused to let me leave, the contacts were stopped.

"At first, I will try to get into Serie A again with Juventus. I don't know what my future will be on June 15th.

"However, I can state I will remain in Turin after Christmas. Then will I stay?

"It will depend on several parameters and the ambition of the officials of the club. For example, I am waiting to see which players could join us.

"Several things will push me to make my decision. Another important element is I am certain not to be able to play in the Champions League again with Juventus before the 2008/09 season.

"I will be almost 31-years-old. As I still want to win titles that can make me think about things. Everything is possible."

Trez tempted by Diego call

David Trezeguet admits he’d run to Boca Juniors if legend Diego Armando Maradona put in the call.

“Diego would like me at Boca? I’d find it difficult to say no if that were the case. He puts such passion into his football, but right now that option isn’t on the table,” he told Argentine newspaper 'Ole.’

It’s generally believed this will be Trezeguet’s last season at Juventus after becoming the club’s most prolific ever foreign scorer in Serie A.

Although he is a French international, he spent his formative years in Argentina and was a youth team player for Platense.

Former Napoli hero Maradona has returned to his homeland as a director for Boca Juniors and met Trezeguet during Ciro Ferrara’s testimonial at the Stadio San Paolo in 2005.

After Gianluigi Buffon put in the warning, the Euro 2000 winner is also eager to point out that promotion to Serie A won’t guarantee he stays in Turin.

“Juve have the priority compared to other clubs, but I have already made it very clear to the directors that I want a competitive squad. I am not interested in merely being in the top six.”

Boca are not the only pretenders to his services, as Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with Trez.

“I have always liked Spanish football, as it’s similar to the Argentine game, which is where I learned to play,” he explained.

“There is a higher level of quality and technique in Italy, but after five years at Monaco and seven with Juve, I’d like to have another experience elsewhere.”

well , well , well .. i think we can say CIAO TREZE now ..

Trez slams FFF
France striker David Trezeguet believes the French Football Federation is to blame for new Real Madrid player Gonzalo Higuain's refusal to answer a national team call-up.

Argentina-born Higuain is eligible to play for France, but declined to travel to Europe for an international get-together last month after having received a fax informing him of coach Raymond Domenech's proposition.

"When you are a player and a national team or a club want you, we'd love to discuss it with the coach," David Trezeguet told France Football.

"I know Argentina is far away, but we could have at least been there to see him.

"We can't limit ourselves to sending a fax or a letter with the French Federation logo to tell him [Higuain] to come.

"That is a strange process, a bit shocking for him.

"I don't understand why the Federation people didn't make the trip to see him.

"This attitude is strange."

Trez just blasted the FFF :D

although i used to like him but IMO trez lost his deadly scoring abilities , i see him just running without real effort or desire to score , i will be not angry if we sell him and get a new and hungry for goals scorer
