Cuz no player is above club, except Del Piero of course. I don't wanna see Trez's scoring record I wanna see tophies......

In this case, it's not so much above the club as it is about the club. Trezeguet's record is not what we want to see him here for, but whether we like it or not, a consequence of that is what he offers us on the pitch. And it's not like all his goals come in the Coppa Italia either, that we need him here to chase a record. His position is not in question. With an ageing DP, it's more likely Amauri - Trezeguet will be the preferred partnership up front. Which is why it would be extremely foolish to let go of a legend like David now. DP's limited playing time's going to warrant an important presence up front and I cant think of anybody but Trezegol to be doing that job. Needless to say, his ability to convert half chances is what we're going to be needing him here for. Now, more than ever. We're trying to find our way back to the summit of European football after all.

But why the italian papers (mostly Tuttosport) writes that he is angry?

Even today's headline says that.

Was he really angry after the last friendly game?

I know he played the second half with the youngsters and could not get chances, but after a while Momo and Chielini went in, so it was not like under-performance squad. I see these first friendly games as experiments, to give some chances to those who will have not later plus some fitness minutes to the proven players.

I hope these games does not affect Trez's mood. He'll get his place eventually. He always does !! Is this Barca rumor disturbing him? Hope not.

He is a Juventino for life. Have proven that already!! Forza TREZEGOL !!!

If they (the management) does this transfer, then I'll buy a ticket from Skopje, Macedonia and WILL come out on riot on the streets of Torino :)

It's all media crap, there's no way he could be angry becoz he didn't start against Brondby, but the media found a reason for him to be angry to fuel the rumors of Barca wanting Trezegol, but a 5 year old will not be convinced of their reasoning

If, and it is an 'if' of massive proportions, Juve cash in on a €25m Barça bid (a 'bid' that may be media hype), I would guarantee that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar would arrive.

In the meantime, I would virtually put my life on this not happening and David finishing his playing career with us.

I don't know where this post should end, but lately here we mentioned that most of the rumors are just media speculation.
Also some other posts I read here, goal.com moslty delivers only news from vecciasignora forum and sutff like that. Can we open or make some action against media specs and bulshit news?!?!

Our board is not capable of buying Huntelaar.

But I'm sure they're capable of selling Trez and replacing him with proven quality player....like Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink or Emile Heskey!

Not trying to sound funny but if they say trez will be sold and could eventually be sold for £23 euros then im game. he wont be worth that in a years time so lets do a Arsenal and cash in at the right time. it'll be the best thing for us in the long run trust me.

Aint amauri the same type of player?? isnt this is what the confusion is all about?? consider his age 30, we wont get the price for him next season.

I think sellng Trez would not allow us to optimally exploit our potency up front - because the way i see it, Amauri has come in as a partner and not as a replacement for David.
