ROFL,leave that argument already, why sign Ibrahimovic he wasen't proven in Italy, why did Milan sign Ronaldinho he isen't proven in Italy.

The list can go on and on dude.
Big difference. We bought Ibrahimovic knowing that we had the safe base of Trez-DP to fall on in case Ibra flopped.

in this situation though, Trez would be sold to make way for Huntelaar. Which means that if Huntelaar flops (unlikely, but still possible) we are screwed because we wouldn't have a natural finisher to fall back on.

besides we have to see how Amauri does as well.

Man i cant understand why we're even discussing this situation and leaving the door open for Barca, by saying Trez is available at an amount that sounds incredelous but is not entirely out of the question. I think one of the three wise men on our board had said Trez is available at 30 m euros. It's so fucking stupid to even leave the room for such a discussion because while we might make that money, these dumbfucks wouldnt know what in god's good name to do with it. And given where Juve is today, I'd much rather hold on to one of the last remaining jewels in the box. Fact is, Trez is a legend, and he just makes it happen in the final third. This Champions League season needs a proven formula like him up front or things could just get detrimental for us, before we embark on another winning cycle, which by the looks of it, isnt too far away, with a couple more decent acquisitions. Selling him now will just upset the applecart, no matter who we end up buying.

No one but the idiots at Barcelona that are not understanding that actually. Them and the Spanish media. I remember clearly that the board publically announced that they will not sell Trezeguet.

No jackster, Blanc actually said Trez isnt for sale. And followed it up by saying they havent heard from Barca on that front. That's alot different from saying he's not available. Thats mercato talk.

Which means that the whole thing is Spanish media fabrication, thus what I said in the beginning. Anything more than that, speculations, paranoid thoughts, conspiracy theories I have nothing to do with.

^agree, I dont understand why people always overlook what Trezeguet did for this club
i don't think ppl necessarily "overlook", i think ppl get complacent

Cuz no player is above club, except Del Piero of course. I don't wanna see Trez's scoring record I wanna see tophies......
of course
