I dont mind losing him, I think there are more motivated players then trezeguet, like villa or iaquinta,...

I know iaquinta isnt a world class player, but we can get cash from trez sale to get a big one.

Fuck, I just don't get it. DP & Trez are the most succesfull attacking duo we ever had and we're gonna end that ahead of one of the most important seasons in our history. For no actual reason really.. Damn.
its crazy and a sad indication of the priorities of this board

I read somewhere that his current wage is 2.5 million. The club offers him 2.6 million contract while he wants 3.5 million.
Its either he is taking 2.5m and received a 2.6m offer while he wants 3m
OR
He is taking 3m and received a 3.1m offer and he wants 3.5m

They are arguing about 400k euros.

Didier Deschamps is still contacting Juventus players and urging them to leave, accuses FIFA agent Vincenzo Morabito.
The surprising claim came after the French Coach abruptly resigned with two games to go in the Serie B season, having already secured promotion and first place.

How do they know DD is still in contact with Juve players? Are they tapping his phone?
I don't believe DD would try to do anything to destabilise Juventus (the team). Balza, Trez and Boumsong did get on well with DD and were not happy about him leaving (I don't know about Camo), but, then again, so were others. I think there is/are another/other factor(s) involved here.

Buffon Stops Trezeguet
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon intends to convince David Trezeguet to stay on with the club.

Gigi Buffon decided to intervene to convince David Trezeguet to remain at Juventus or at least to try and find an agreement with the Bianconeri's management. The best goalkeeper in the world called up his friend David and so did Pavel Nedved and Alessandro Del Piero.

He did so in a completely personal way, without pressure, a gesture that came from the heart. Gigi and David are very close, and he was the first Azzurro to console the Frenchman after he missed the decisive penalty in the World Cup final.

The Juve management have yet to meet Trezeguet's entourage; next week Juve will offer him a new contract worth 4 million euros a season, and are not willing to go further. It will be up to the player to make the final decision.

Meanwhile Valencia have also asked about the player through their sporting director Amedeo Carboni, and have also enquired about Mauro Camoranesi. Valencia would like to buy both players, but know they won't be able to guarantee the same fees they get in Turin. In these last few hours also Barcelona have entered the race for David Trezeguet. Juventus are waiting, but not for too long.

There seems to be a strong bond between Trez, Nedved, Gigi and DP. They are playing together for many years now. I love it. That's the spirit and that's why our core has to stay untouched.

If this is true, that is awesome.

How much was Trez demanding? Wasn't it like 3 million? So 4 millions sounds reasonable. I really hope he decides to stay, those guys are like family ffs.
:agree:

But now we can also see another side of the story, the goal.com article says he gonna earn less in Valencia or any other club than he earns now at Juve, which means it was all about the money and I'm not pleased with that :disagree:

funny how you don't mention camoranesi. like if he's already gone
It's even funnier that I had him included first and decided to delete his name ;).

I'm not sure if Camo has the same bond to the club and the players that the others have. Sometimes he is celebrating like crazy with the team when we score and sometimes he sounds like Juventus is just a stone on his leg that holds him down.
