Great that he left so I can go back to hating that arrogant prick and laughing at his misery.

United could so easily fix their problems by just signing an adequate coach but they seem to insist on Ole who keeps getting his ass handed to him despite having an absolutely stacked squad. Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo made no difference on the results which is mind-boggling.

Khabib using the dad excuse he damn well knows he never met anyone like GSP the GOAT stay retired khabibi and protect that record.

Now that Ronaldo is gone is when we can see the pros and cons more clearly and even though I didn't hate him here it was getting harder to justify his wages and disruption in balance of the team was becoming more apperant.

GSP is 40 and has fought once in the past eight years. No way is Khabib afraid. Maybe his word just means something to him, he told his mom he wouldn’t fight again. Didn’t he also turn down a big money fight with Mayweather? Gotta respect it.

Being remembered as an undefeated in anything > money. He's not afraid of GSP but it's a chance he is not willing to take because he never met anyone with the skill that dominated two classes.
It was also his dad's "dream fight" as an only worthy opponent not that long ago. I guess he chose listening to mom.

Khabib has never ran from defending his belt and actually said it was his duty to fight the best as champion, so your theory doesn't make much sense. And idk how you can call GSP the goat when he got pummeled by Serra lolol. Khabibs resume is way more impressive.

Yeah and he is trying to keep it "impressive". Two weight classes won do you grasp what it means in the sport? GSP has about 8 more overall fights AKA more risk of losing.. but a fighter is a fighter he doesn't retire on top just for the sake of remaining unbeaten. Doesn't matter who you are, if you compete long enough you will be beaten.

loss to serra? What about a year later when he beat Serra's ass? Beating bisping by submission after taking 4 years off that's balls to even compete. Something khabibi clearly lacks but hey the undefeated hero who just after a year refuses to come back when your opponent did it after 4. A promise to mommy. To each his own opinion.

yeah beating a 38 year old bisping was so impressive, well done lad. Khabib would never get TKOd by a guy like Serra. No one has dominated the sport the way he has. He doesn’t just beat opponents, he dominates them. And the likes of Poirier and Whitman Gaethje would dominate any fighter from GSPs era, they’re much better rounded nowadays.

Where would you place the OG, Rickson Gracie?

khabibi would never get beat because he wouldn't compete in the first place because in his mind he was more likely to lose so he retired at his peak.
GSP and bisping are of similar age only 2 year difference so idk what you're smoking there.. if it's so easy well then come do it khabibi..he is 7 years younger than GSP and 9 years younger than bisping and still won't compete with none young or old.
Yeah he dominated and then quit while on top the one trick submission pony. Made sure to stay undefeated by cutting his career short at least five years sooner than normal blaming it on the mommy promise.
And the logic of he is better because he is undefeated doesn't fly because by that logic Muhammad Ali isn't the greatest ever boxer. I'm not saying GSP would win for sure, I'm saying he is the best opponent khabibi ever had and he and even his dad knew it..Fanboys will be fanboys though so whatever.

Pure grappling/ground Gracie would likely win but add standup and I got khabib taking it. Same vs GSP...it's tricky though Gracie was one tough SOB

you’re going on and on like GSP has been sitting around begging to fight Khabib. I don’t see any urgency from him either. As a matter of fact, Khabib was gonna have to be the one to compromise with his weight. So is it actually GSP that’s scared??

If you wanna blame someone blame Dana. Khabib pushed for the fight but from what I remember Dana didn’t wanna do it

Yeah Khabib is clearly the greatest and GSP is a has been whose last fight was in 2017? Khabib has always fought the best possible opponents, the only fight of his I wish I’d seen is against Ferguson but based on how Ferguson looked, Khabib would win that too.

like Daniel said, Khabib has dominated everyone he’s fought and so far no one has come even close to that. Dude has lost less rounds than others have lost fights.

"I know that when Cristiano #Ronaldo returned to Continassa this summer, he said to his teammates :"I'm leaving". He didn't look like he was staying at Juve."

[@romeoagresti - @GianniBalzarini via @Elvin_DF]

"I am totally convinced that he made his decision after the Porto loss. There was a risk of him staying if there were no offers for him. It would have been the worst thing for #Juve because he wanted to leave."

I like how they are attacking Ronaldo for united's lack of ideas. Like. What? What are you talking about? Since when did they have that? Especially under Solskjaer they've relied on individual brilliance. It has nothing to do with Ronaldo, except it is even more visible now.

Yes, but Neville and the likes complaining about lack of uniformity or fluidity stemming from trained movements will likely go over Solskjaer's head so much it's destroying the moon. The dude has never had an idea to implement. They can complain all they want. They are correct. But it has nothing to do with Ronaldo.
