We need to look at the impact in numbers rather than standings. Besides revenues for said calender year are published for prior seasons. For example, the revenue standings for year 2019 is based on the previous season which in this case would be 17-18.

I think we need to look specifically at the commercial revenue instead of the full revenue profile, as Ronaldo has a very indirect and probably also insignificant effect on our Matchday revenue and Broadcast revenue.

With how things were going prior to Ronaldo, we can asusme that without him we're probably not making that jump up to 185m in 18/19, but surely we're not that far off either from those numbers, our commercial revenue was already steadily growing before signing CR7. With Covid kicking in, I think it's rather clear that Ronaldo definitely doesn't finance himself now and probably won't in the future as well, I'd say we can attribute anything between 10-20m / year as extra revenue that he brought in.

Yeah, Ronaldo isn't really getting scrappy in the box, finding half chances in the six. Most of his goals are powerful headers and finishing outside of the six. Quite a difference there.

Also Ronaldo has quite a number of assists. Since 2009 he has assisted 137 times in 530 apps. Even if we didnt see him week in week out, dribbling on the left side of the pitch, beating his marker, just seeing that number should be enough to dispel any positional doubts.

It was Del Piero for me for example and first time I saw him was EURO2000, not even at Juve.

Well Bayern is Germanys biggest club and I saw them in a CL game the first time and I was just sold. Since then I of course grew fond of a lot of the players, of never players I admired Robben a lot.

But for me it was always the club that came first. It could as well have been because of a certain player(s) I became a Bayern fan if things had turned out just a little bit different.

Yeah, wasnt an option. As much as I liked Baggio, I grew fond of the team by the time he was leaving. And young stars like Del Piero emerged so it was very exciting period.
