Im not really bothered by his form either way. He has reached a bar so high that any bad performance by him seems like an absolute abomination. It is natural for age and fatigue to take its toll. Having said that, i’m fully confident that he’s going to step it up when it matters most. Even at his worst, we stand to lose more than we stand to gain if he isn’t on the pitch. No reason for him to be benched.
