Its not about if he's great or not. He is great. And yes he has good numbers

But we cater to him too much. Our game plan is for Ronaldo to pull something and pass to him in the meanwhile without taking initiatives. When he's in a bad day, Juve is usually in a bad day. We're worse off as a team.

With the wage we give him we could have a few quality players that would balance out the squad instead of relying on one player. The latter impedes the team to take initiatives. If he left the rest of the team would share more goals

Show some pride and stop being Ronaldo FC. Even in Allegri's last season that game plan didn't workout because we're too predictable and Juve is slave to his performances. He was brought in for the CL, we failed now move on. You don't rebuild with Ronaldo

Painful to see how low can we get to cater to him.

Not one player in the world would bring Ronaldo's numbers even if they cater him. Not one.

People forget what he achived in Real and what he did there. He's surrounded by 70IQ in our squad and people put blame on him. Build better team and you'll get better results. Of course you can't have a striker and count on him to defend, create for himself in the middle, and then go and strike a goal, whether he's a poacher or not.

I don't want to even imagine this season without him.

When you have great players at other positions then having Ronaldo makes more sense. Keyword here is we're rebuilding, we can't continue to get bailed out by him else we will only patch up and not rebuild. The team needs to have new leaders and not be a one trick pony. But we do need some purchases for that to happen

Exactly . Some think that we discredit him.
Far from it , but real had/has usually close to twice the revenue . They can easily afford to keep him .
Us, instead have to sacrifice other areas of the pitch to keep him , especially now with covid around.
So when you say that we let spina go and got frabotta or sold romero or we don't have a backup ST , just remeber CR7 wages is one of those reasons.

BTW he has 27 goals and asists in seria A.
Thats like 2.1 million/goal or assist .
No wonder dybala wants at least 15 million with the stats he put up last year.

Mate it's 2021. Ronaldo is a soon to be 37 year old with wages 4x more than the next highest paid player. It's pandemic season and its HIGHTIME we need an overhaul. This build the team around him stuff is sounding even more funny now.

There was a time when the management were averse to major overhauls because they feared they might lose the scudetto. Now the time has come, we've lost yhe league and dont look anywhere near contending for a CL. Build from scratch now so that you can be competitive again in 2-3 years. We're really in a nothing to lose situation right now.

And given how financially crippled the rest of the league is, we will soon find ourselves at the top even without an ageing Ronaldo.

Sell Dybala and sell Sandro. Sell our midfield.

You think one year with Ronaldo gone would make us sign WC players by having his wages off? We wouldn't get much if we sell Ronaldo.

imo benefits of selling Ronaldo now when his contract is running out are close to none. 30mln saved? That won't fix it.

No but atleast we will have room to rework the entire team than making more band aid signings to 'build a team around Ronaldo' that you so dearly want.

Its actually 60 million gross. We might incur 200 million loss. His 60 miliion a year almost means 1/3 of our losses.
We can't rebuild with him. If we keep him expect more swaps and underwhelming buys or undervalued sales to patch the losses.

No, that's just bullshit you made up. I never said to build a team around Ronaldo who's 36.

I said keep upgrading the squad, despite of having Ronaldo or not, because he'd stay here for one season, not 21. We'll have him score goals because he's great at it. That's not building team around him, that's nonsense. I'm not saying "buy those who'd serve Ronaldo as their master", but buy quality players nevertheless.

If you want cash sell Dybala and others. Selling Ronaldo at this point wouldn't improve our situation. Who'd play there? Dybala?

Unless you're in a dreamland thinking we should sell Ronaldo and buy Haaland. Well, if that's possible I'm all for it. But that ain't gonna happen. I don't want us to rely on Morata and Dybala scoring goals, nor I want to see us buy Belotti, Scammaca or somebody else to replace him. It makes no sense.

And it saves it for what, one year? That's massive?

That "massive" is signing freaking Locatelli, man. It's that massive.
So saving €60M with Ronaldo's sale equals signing Locatelli. If its so black or white for you, then there's no point having this discussion.

If its only one year more of Ronaldo then so be it. But not more than that.

Anyway not even sure he'll want to put up with the mess we're in. We'll see
