@ColloRosso you follow CR7 a lot, maybe you know, who else of the younger generation besides Mbappe has come out to say that Cristiano Ronaldo inspired him while shaping himself as footballer?

I know Del Piero had a huge impact on the mid-80ties/early-90ties generation (the 2 most wtf victims of his charm being Pato and Insigne :D) and brazilian Ronaldo an even bigger one, wondering who of the young stars in the game grew up imitating CR7 moves

Mostly this new generation of players that will be coming of age now. I know that CR7 has a big following in England because of United. One of the most notables I know is Rashford who considers him a model:

When he retires a lot of people will come forward to admit that regards him as an inspiration. Mbappe, for example, has now trouble assuming it clear since he's a direct rival of him.
He also inspires people outside football, many notable sports people consider him a role model. And people in general of course :D

Others players that I know:

Brazilian Ronaldo mentioned Zico as main inspiration. Maradona considered Rivelino as one of the greatest inpirations. Eusébio considered Di Stefano, and even asked for his shirt even he defeated him in the European Cup

They have one of the team with more fluid attacks in Europe and players that can think the game rather than specialists. Their midfield is surreal, their attack developed a lot under Zidane. Plus they are so used to play with each other know each other movements. You say that like it's a bad thing

Serie A is doomed. It's park the bus overkill.
You are taking two different things and mix them together..
What you are saying is definitely a good thing but Real like every team also have flaws and this is theirs..
Its true that there is a thin line between the two things but one is good and one is bad and when you do something you need to do it in the right amount and when fit and not all the time..
Zidane was masterfull for them no doubt about it and they were very good in recent years there is no doubt about this as well...

What remains to be seen is Real under Lopetegui now. They will not win another UCL anytime soon.

Serie A is not doomed. This is one of the few strengths of Italian football. Even if the technical level is poor any team can put up a good fight. Ronaldo will become even better attacker once he get used to it.

Serie A besides the biggest teams that play to be champions, feels like every other team is Stoke under a cold rainy night. Don't take me wrong but not sure if people want to watch it over the EPL or La Liga. Obviously people will watch Juve and Ronaldo but not like Serie A as whole.

there are plenty of good attacking teams in the midtable. None of Sassuolo, Fiorentina, Lazio, Torino, Milan, Sampdoria, Atalanta, Genoa have ambitions to win the title, but all have technical quality upfront and can play the ball well. It's the lower part of the table which is underwhelming and doesn't justify having a 20 team league, I think 16 or at most 18 teams would improve the quality of Serie A a lot

Man, that Chievo game... When I've saw the eleven guys inside the box, I was like not even a cold rainy day at Stoke, it was a sunny day at Verona
