Szczesny: Ronaldo will score soon

Wojciech Szczesny insists Cristiano Ronaldo has ‘already added a lot of quality’ to Juventus and will score ‘very soon’.

Ronaldo failed to net a debut goal during Juve’s 3-2 win at Chievo on Saturday, but Szczesny made it clear the Portuguese was under no pressure after his 112m arrival from Real Madrid.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player and has already added a lot of quality to the team,” he told Sportsmail.

“Unfortunately he didn’t score against Chievo, but he will score his first official goal very soon, I’m sure of it.

“For us to have a good year in the Champions League, we must first play well in the League. If we do that, it’ll give us confidence.”

I think it was tactical choice once Mario was brought on.

Havent been this excited about a player since forever I feel . This is just amazing and savoring every moment of it. We have one of the best players if not the best one of all time in our team and have privilege to watch him week in week out. Stalker mode activated :lol2:

Yes. I know. There are a few. But surely that is not the rule. I mean, it would still be very exceptional from Ronaldo.

I know man, I still can't believe it. Next few years is gonna be :tuttosport:

I'll believe it when I see him score in the bernabeau during UCL. That'll be epic.
