so he dealt with lille, valencia, and now southampton. nice to see that neither of the shitholes like sassuolo or fiorentina get a dime from jj. commisso et al will learn that you don't shit where you eat.
he was like this at napoli too, all of his best buys came from outside italy. Seems he doesnt like to shop local loll

incredible how it has to be explained over and over again

weah and djaló. a mediocre squad player and a cripple on an expiring contract. it should be a big enough reality check for anyone.
But what is the point of spending any money on these players?

I am well aware there's no money.
But, all things considered, is signing Djaló really a cheaper & better solution than just keeping someone like De Winter or Dragusin?

Signing players just for the sake of it is just stupid. The way I see it, you either sign someone you need, a reinforcement, or you don't sign anyone at all.

dragusin and de winter will bring some much needed plusvalenza. i think that we're about to witness the worst jj human trafficking in the next few years

I think we're hoping some of these new signings like Djalo and Alcaraz will end up being great for us without 70+ million investment. We always operated like that. In some cases it went great (Vidal, Licht...) in some cases it went terrible (Zakaria, Pellegrini...).

after the acquisitions of milik and weah, chasing around for berardi and lukaku, praising allegri in a most shameless manner, i thought he was a just regular ass shitty italian ds like secco. he turned out to be vile thief.

official figures for alcaraz is nearing 60 million euros.

I wonder how our line up will look like when Giuntoli has made his mark on the team.

A lot of young potential being signed.

Adzic is a player i'm most looking forward to.

Giuntoli Deal #19
  • Player: Carlos Alcaraz
  • Type: loan with option to buy
  • From: Southampton FC
  • Detail: half season loan until June 2024, 3.7m loan fee with bonus up to 1.9m. Juventus have the right to definitively acquire the player’s registration rights for 49.5m, payable in three years.
  • Note: The salary for the loan will be paid totally by Southampton according to GDM.
Grade: TBD
Comment:
This is the kind of deal one can't make hasty judgement. As long as it's an OPTION to buy, it's a lower-risk gambling even though both the loan fee and the buyout fee seem too high.

It’s 3.7m. the 1.9m you conveniently added are called bonus and will only be paid when certain conditions are met (which if they happen will be beneficial for us).

The loan fee is offset by not having to pay wages. This was the cheapest way we could have filled a spot on the roster until the summer because we are broke as fuck and can’t go and spend 40/50 million on a player who would have an immediate impact. We’re obviously not going to exercise the option unless he really shines and southampton drastically reduces his prices.
