I don't mind missing out on your targets here or there, but not having CB's or wingers 10 days before the league starts is not fair to the new manager at all. We're not in a position to waste time on transfers that need to happen on our terms. And the issue is that we put ourselves here by selling and banning players in positions we need.

Tek
Danilo - Bremer - Calafiori/Todibo - Cambiaso
Luiz - Fagioli - Locatelli
Soule - Vlahovic - Chiesa

To me this would be good enough. I think just getting rid of Allegri was a signing in itself.

25 buys you fourth goalkeeper but not good wingers.
20m total for Di Gregorio. Only 4 now.

Nico Gonzalez supposedly costs 30m. I'd gladly add 5 mil for a proven commodity which is what we need to start our renaissance, no? We can not afford many mishits in the transfer market. We're already strapped in cash.

Exactly. Getting rid of a football terrorist without having to pay a huge severence fee and getting one of the more promising coaches in Serie A was an achievement in itself.

If we get Koopmeiners, a winger and keep Chiesa, this would be a solid mercato even without adding a high profile CB. I don't think we have the money to make so many signings in one window so I will be pretty satisfied if this happens.

And it was reported Todibo wants only Juve. Yet he's on the way to EPL.
Nope, he gave his preference to Juve but we couldn't strike a deal. Don't know why people keep imagining comparisons when there are none.
There was a weak link to West Ham but that was it. Leverkusen, Saudis and Roma were actually there.

Throating that fat fuck Mckennie is ultimate form of embarrassment though

I saw similar comments when Marotta took over the club. You guys are so out of touch with reality, it's unbelievable.

JJ's revenue is 200M less than the likes of Tottenham and have been making 100-150M losses regularly over the last 3 years but you guys expect Giuntoli to go out there and dominate the market like we're galactico's JJ or something

It's disappointing to miss out on Todibo but this is not a huge loss. He's no world beater. I really doubt we have the funds to make all those rumored signings.
Not once have I seen someone say we should dominate the market like Real. You just made that up.

We can certainly give him time - it's not like we have any real say in the matter. But I personally don't like some of the signings we have made, other than Thuram of course, and I don't like these Tici-esque games with accounting at the expense of some of our younger players. I would rather just keep Soule and Chiesa instead of signing Cabal, Luiz (at that price), and any of these rumored trash wingers we're looking into.

But here we are with the season approaching in another week and we have failed thus far on our main targets of the mercato (Koopmeiners and a ball playing CB). It's not a good look.

Not a huge loss you say? Who do you expect to be our main CB pairing then?

Lol, you know what a historically awful decision it was to get rid Marotta 6 years ago (time flies), when the only ones celebrating his departure was the Tuz horsemen of doom:

Badass
Turk
Cronios.
Still am celebrating the exit of that cross eyed troll. I'm still pissed at how we sold a world class Vidal for 30 mill only to sign freaking hernanes and Rincon. At least you all know I'm not afraid to hide that opinion.

Jean-Clair Todibo has told OGC Nice that his plan and decision is clear: he only wants Juventus move."

So reports are only true, if you like them? Reports about Soule only wanting Roma is true, but with Todibo it's a "preference"? Maybe it was a preference with Soule too? And what if Roma was unable to " strike a deal"?

You'd rather lose Chiesa on a free?

Well, either we stopped like Momblano says or Romano was wrong, seeing as he ended up in West Ham obviously.

An actual bid from the Prem would be helpful if you want to sell to a Prem team, don't you think? My word...

It's not like we let Soulé go to Roma while there were higher offers... But apparently that's what you're trying to say anyway.

I'd like to weigh in my opinion on August 31st/September 1st. All we can rely right now is media rumors but no one really knows what's going on behind the scenes.

As for Todibo, if we felt he's really worth it and someone who can lead the defense along with Bremer, we'd have signed him on any conditions.

At the end of the day, he chose to go to a lower mid-table team like West Ham while he's probably entering the peak of his career so it's not really a huge loss in that sense.

The throating above is rivaling allegro throaters

remember when allegro throaters were like ohhh early season results don’t matter? It’s the January to May period where season starts

bow these throats are saying ohhh last 2 months don’t matter. It’s only this last 3 weeks of transfer window that’s important

unbelievable how much coping they are doing

Looks like this shoes were to big to fill in for him. He had one year of preparations, making plans b,c,d...finding out some talented unkown players like kvaratskhelia was, but nothing happened. The first buy of this mercato was a 4th goalkeeper and that should be a yellow flag, depend on our financial situation.

As i said months ago, why are some so hyped over this guy and took him for some kind of saviour? Tuz is a desperate place
Because of the miracles he did at Napoli I have been told. De Laurentiis won this one against us loud and clear.

I'm now starting to believe ADL's story that his son found Kvratskhelia and not Giuntoli

That is precisely what I'm saying, Soule himself came out and said he only wanted roma, we received higher bids from at least one club, Leicester. Again this is all very well documented by multiple journalists.
