Given that you toasted a propaganda piece from huffpost while suggesting that all people who won't get the vaccine are anti vaxxers (which is like saying people who won't drive a Tesla are anti-environment) you can't have a problem with generalizations?
just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean it’s propaganda. They’re reporting on what someone stated. That’s a false analogy with the Tesla also.

and yes, the definition of anti vaxxers is being against vaccines for no good reason. And “not enough” data is not a good reason anymore

Why do I need a reason? And why would you care what I am doing with my body?

I'm not at all anti-vaccines in general and have taken plenty of vaccines before, but Corona is nothing I really feel the urge to get vaccinated against. Maybe sometime down the line if restrictions get even more ludicrous, but for now I'm fine without.

And Huffpost is crap.

These measures while extreme have to be considered in case shit hits the fan:

-Mandatory electronic bracelet

-Chip to monitor health

-The controlling of whom you meet

-The controlling of purchases, with automatic fines if say you buy meds that could suggest you are sick or are hoarding.

I think that’s fair enough. For me, I don’t get the flu shot, never have and never will. Got the vaccine because I want to travel and not have worry about it. If I ever get to go to Africa on a safari obviously I will take whatever shots I need to go.

But what irks me is the disinformation and blowing out of proportion of the vaccine side effects. It’s almost like some people who don’t want the vaccine have to fear monger about it as a mechanism to cope with their decision. And that isn’t really beneficial to those who should probably get the vaccine because they’re ridiculously unhealthy.

Then let them die of their own ignorance. Maybe once people start seeing that happening they will start fearing the virus more than vax and won't need to be coaxed into it.

100% with you on all of this.

If I wasn’t travelling later this year, might have considered waiting a little longer to get the vaccine, but that was more out of laziness and general indifference to the idea that I need to rush out and get it immediately. All the same, I was perfectly fine with getting it, and despise all the misinformation and nonsense being spread about the “dangers” and “side effects”.

If people don’t want to get it, or want to wait, fair enough. But if they’re spreading lies and propaganda about it, and causing others to refuse to get it who are very at-risk to Covid, especially this new Delta strain, at that point, they are no different than any other anti-vaxxers.
