I actually do love the US too. All my trips added up I’ve probably spent a few years down there adventuring.

I’m just disappointed that it’s gone so far off the rails over the past decade+. All because of the voice and political power given to fringe lunatics on the left and right, and moderate republicans and democrats giving them so much attention so as to keep their votes.

I wish you could get out from under the two party system and somehow a centre-moderate party could come into being. Would win election in a landslide and fix a lot of the shit going on.
I think it's much more nefarious than that and tbh I'm not too optimistic.

calma

gators have the best immune system in the world
I’m afraid that unbeatable immune system is weakened by that totalitarian lockdown though

Meanwhile Texas set another record for fatalities. Hospitalizations increase dropped sharply though.

And blue states only had many more cases in the beginning because international tourists don't want to visit red states. Plus all the fat republicans don't like to travel abroad cause murica number one.
No because bloo states are urban where people are held like cattle in cucksheds while red staters live the good lives of freedom, peace and clean air on their own land

GOD BLESS

Sure, look at this
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/
Out of the top 10 states with tests per 1M population, only Massachussets, North Dakota and Alaska have Republican governors.
Also, Arizona, Texas and Florida fall way below the national average.
So the excuse of 'more testing in Republican states' is simply wrong.
I wasn't coming up with an excuse i just pointed out that those numbers alone are not telling. Additionally, the virus hit blue states sooner and testing wasn't as extensive then, conclusion the virus now is only used as a political tool, because really of we cared about govs responses we should be impaling cuomo.

I'm not saying you in particular, but I've seen excuses from Trump and Republican leaders saying that the numbers are going up due to increasing testing. As for Cuomo, yes, he did a bad job at the start of the epidemic, but at least he owned up to his mistakes and tried to fix it.
