I don't know what the truth is but this is getting ridiculous.

Edit: it's not about the last study on hydroxycloroquine. But it shows that there is an agenda with it. Why? I have no idea.
The virus is so good. It would require millions of cases properly study with thousands of variables consider to real know it a bit. That is almost impossible to do for a bunch of reason so at the end, in our current pandemic, it would also require time.

I saw that. Apparently the study authors retracted it because the organization supplying the data refused to allow it to be peer-checked due to confidentiality they said :sergio: The world has become so stupid.

I think the biggest issue is this was politicized the moment Trump began telling people they should take it with no proper studies and evidence behind it. As soon as he did that it became a battle that the media predictably allowed themselves to be sucked into with them latching onto anything remotely negative about it and Trump and most of his Fox News enablers trumpeting every slightly positive thing about it. They both have far too vested an interest in the other being wrong instead of wanting to know the actual truth about HCl

Everyone should have just shut the fuck up about it and allowed proper clinical trials and studies to show us whether it is effective or not. Instead we have this retarded mess surrounding it where it’s hard to trust any info coming out.

Thankfully the study I linked from the other day is a proper randomized, double blind, controlled study. And it nixes the idea it acts as a post-exposure prophylactic in the way Trump recently took it. Now we can see if it works for stopping mild cases becoming severe. Hopefully it does.

Man, somebody really has lots of time and is bored. What an article lol

Is corona still a thing in your countr(ies)? Over here it's like nothing ever happened. Thankfully. It's just some minor cases where companies still take some measures, otherwise nothing.

Do you have to wear masks?
Optional which pratically means that 95% don't use them. Stores have signs like "we recommend masks and distancing" while some stores have restricted number of people allowed to enter, but no, nobody tells you not to enter if you don't have one. Same goes for busses. They used to say how it's gonna be a must, but then later on nothing. :boh: Companies don't use them while only people in bars use them (employees).

When it comes to busses every other seat is available so number of sittings is restricted. Despite that, people still sit all over the place and overcrowd it like they used to. We have small number of new cases (<100) daily and nobody even speaks about it. Hell, at this point people don't even believe it existed.

Lemme remind you that we had pretty hard restrictions compared to the rest of Europe. We even had curfew. In the end, it felt like they took down the measures over night and life went back to normal like nothing happened. It's pretty fucking strange gotta say. We're even supposed to have elections in like 3 weeks.

Everyone knows that the outbreak in China started much earlier than late Q4. Potentially, mid-to-late Q3 is a possibility. It's laughable to think that China did not suppress information. They do it in every other regard so why would they treat this situation any different.

Phase 1 of NYC's reopening begins today. It's been exactly 100 days since the first confirmed case in NYC. They are looking to be semi open for July 4th. If that doesn't scream open the gates for a second wave... Manhattan is just not safe nor is it ever going to be the same again.

Well, there you have the answer why it has been lifted so quickly.

You're not far off the truth since we're having dictatorship here. Our president is batshit insane and my first guess what that, he simply wants the elections since there was a political silence during covid, so he basically has no competitions. The opposition went insane after the decision and asked to postpone it which was rejected of course.

Still, we're not getting high numbers after doing so and temporary hospitals are already closed. :boh: I hope we're not getting a second wave after because covid made this year into a really big shit.
