Things can't go back to the way they way for a while. Large crowds should still be banned. Testing should be done more aggressively and positive cases should have mandatory (not voluntary) isolation. Apart from that, I think most business should be able to reopen and people can start going back to work. (will still take a month and half in the US for this, best case scenario imo).

The US is a very tricky situation because of its size and how varied the timing of the peaks of different states will be. I don't see how it's enforceable, but limiting interstate travel is all I can think of.

There is a lot of data coming in that supports the use of masks and gloves to limit the spread. I think plane, bus and train travelers should be forced to use masks to board.
They do mean something, at least I can see how long will it last You can get a rough number of sitting 1.5-2 months at home. I think my country will bring a full lockdown these days.

Lol are you suggesting that countries who were weakened by WWI and the biggest pandemic known to man would still have had the energy to go another round?
Percentage-wise Black Death was the biggest pandemic known to men, and not everyone suffered the same from Spanish flu, which might be exactly the case in here. Wars are costly. Who likes to go further in debt after this?
In Austria, people who go to the supermarket have to wear masks to protect the workers there. Great idea...But what if there are no masks? That's probably why Bavaria opted against it for now. It's pointless, as it is just not realisable with the shortage in supplies.
Note that's only the low tier masks though, not the ones used in hospitals which work both ways.
Not defensive at all. Just wanted to make my position clear
Btw I’m no fan of commies but China’s behavior could’ve happened in any dictatorship, and world is full of them.
Dude let's get real do you think India can test many people? Italy prolly has 10times the reported cases as that gov official said but limited number of tests is done daily
