I wouldn't bother - Andy would bend backwards, even more than he bent for Trump, just to dig up all sorts of self-contradicting, nonsensical excuses, with the sole purpose of not having to admit he, Andy, got taken by the orange buffoon like a cheap ho at a bachelor party.

And to think it would take so little for Andy to gain the respect of most people here ... all it would take is to say "I was wrong", 3 very simple words.

Look, I don't think much of Andy but even I refuse to believe he is that much of a fucking moron. At this point, I am thinking his stubbornness stems from a misplaced sense of pride mixed with common denial.
Was it your pride that made you go into hiding following Juve's successful 2011/12 season after years of your mockery and trolling? Only to resurface years later, avoiding all football-related discussions, sticking to the obscure corners of Tuz. We didn't forget :p

I like Andy. He’s a cool guy. I even agree with his pessimism about government in general..: I get people being frustrated with the democrats in 2016 and disliking Hillary.

What I don’t get is the inability to concede that this imbecile in office is entirely unfit for it, a total clown, constantly lying out both sides of his mouth, abusing the power of the office to enrich himself and his cronies, and showing a borderline criminal disregard and negligence for the average American’s health and well-being.

I get that people like their 401Ks and the stock market, but there is a little more to life than this, and a lot more to governing a country than giving a percentage of the population a rosy 401K outlook (not so rosy right now though :shifty: ).

As the boomers die off and population shifts, guys like Andy may be in for a rude awakening when someone like AOC ends up as president, and they shall have no one to blame but themselves.

Not sure about "criminal", but I don't agree with how it's been handled in general. My level of expectation of government function is low to begin with though.
This anti-government theme seems to be trademark of yours. I'd like to point out that not all governments are the same. There are various levels of "ineptness" and going for the less "inept" option would seem like a good idea. You also seem to think that governments are by nature evil and bad, like those are build in features that such system for some reason just has.

I really can't come up with a whole lot of success stories of countries prospering without strong governments, perhaps you can help me with that? I really don't understand where you base your claim that governments are almost automatically harmful and are only halting progress. I'd claim that the evidence suggests quite the opposite.

Mortgage rates ticked UP last week and this week. Why?

As someone who works as a government underwriter, I can tell you why.

Lenders are getting besieged with refinance applications, and that, combined with the fact that appraisers are now very hesitant to go and do appraisals, which require outdoor and indoor inspections, are going to result in delayed loans, which costs the lenders money to extend rate locks. They are basically trying to stem the tide. The company I work for had to do the same thing.

And since refinancing is strictly a rate driven market vis a vis a purchase market which is more predicated upon relationships and delivering timely service, these lenders don't want to be sitting on all of these rate locks that will cost a significant amount of money to extend, if there is no indication of when these loans can get done.

We are getting delayed appraisals right now on a majority of our purchase loans, but there isn't really anything we can do about it. We can't force appraisers to go out there.

What are you on about? I usually mock and troll you guys and did so for years after the 2011 season. Stopped participating in football discussions only when it became obvious that Milan and Juve were no longer competing for the same goals. That is, for the past 4-5 years, Milan was competing for 4-5th place, at best, while Juve was well ahead of anyone else in Italy.
A Milan fan like me has nothing to discuss, football-related, on a Juve forum and this is unlikely to change until Milan settles their ownership situation, once and for all.

But if you guys so miss my mockery, take a mental picture of my avatar and keep in mind my prediction of years ago that while Milan's misery years are continuing, Milan and Juve will win the exact same number of Cl titles - 0 ... that should keep you warm for a while :D

My sentiments, exactly. Everybody enjoys a juicy 401K or will suffer from a slumping market and economy. Can't prioritize one thing alone, however, and willfully let everything else go in the gutter. Neither of us is an island, in the end of the day, some basic sense of social responsibility is needed.

You could've at least given us our chance to get back at you when your club went to shit, but you were nowhere to be seen, like @Dantes is now
