I think it starts with the CDC. Everyone knows the hospitals don't seem to be prepared for this, but hospital stocks haven't been hit that hard -- yet. I don't really know what the CDC is doing in working with hospitals for preparedness, maybe little or nothing.

Do they? It's one doctor. From my experiece not so many people have that level of empathy so I highly doubt many reacts the same way. Plus, I'd say it's not an easy thing to controll when it comes to a virus.

Cuomo has declared a 1 mile "containment zone" around New Rochelle (not far from NYC). The National Guard has been deployed to assist with food distribution.
