they said they want 60% of the population to get infected in order to achieve herd immunity .
There are 2 problems with this.
1) Even if you develop immunity to the virus, half a million to a million people will die and hospitals will be overrun.
2) There is no evidence that you develop immunity to the virus by catching it. There have been multiple reports of people getting reinfected with the virus.
This is basically the UK government putting money over their people’s lives. In the end, both will be destroyed. Boris Johnson should face trial for war crimes.
