There was another book claiming similar thing (btw she looks like she's on drugs).

I did not read the book, just saw some parts. Out of all countries and cities I'd say it's quite funny it was Wuhan mentioned. Plus I think it's quite nice that someone nails a future guessing, saying something will happen in 40 years in a specific country/town. I think that woman as well mentions Wuhan and the virus.
Wuhan mentioned in 2008 edition. In 1981 it was Gorky-400. 2008 after the Beijing Olympics was peak year for China phobia.

I don’t know what the exact cost is but Katie Porter got the pledge from CDC Director for it to be free
I don’t like Trump at all, obviously, but for the very first time I think his administration is actually Taking something seriously and starting on a path to doing the right thing. I hope they continue. Pity Fox News still telling their senior citizen watchers that this is a democrat hoax.

Nah. I’m sure some years it has been .2% and others .05%. Canada is much the same. Either way, it’s about 10x less than the best case scenario estimates of covid-19 so we better hope this can be contained. My parents are in their mid-60s and I sure as fuck don’t want them getting it even though they are very healthy.
I'm actually surprised my country is taking many steps. I mean, it's fucking Serbia, let's get real here. But foreigners are not allowed to enter that are coming from countries with corona's biggest cases. We're getting constant attention to wash hands & everything in public in order to minimize the chances. Many companies are taking huge steps also while my brother will probably start working from home, just like my friend. It surprises me tbh. But... there's always but. Our medical facilities aren't that huge nor we have great equipment, let alone huge scale testing. If it explodes here it's gonna get nasty because imo we wouldn't be able to do much.

I hate Trump as much as the next guy but there will be other times for that. I wish him luck on this. Test capacity is growing, and it looks like closures are happening sooner here than Italy.

Basically all the counties in Norther VA are closing schools. That alone is going to strain the system if parents aren't going to work and have to make accomodations to take care of their kids.

Bold move Cotton. Let's see if it pays off.

What bold move? If you’re referring to his statement going after “those who are accountable”, what does that do to solve this?

It’s a fucked up time when Tucker Carlson is the voice of reason on your network lol.

Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Trish Regan, etc should be stoned to death. This is a network that has a viewer average age of like 67 and their opinion people are telling viewers that This Coronavirus is no big deal and just a hoax to get lord god and emperor Trump. Irresponsible fuckwits going to cause deaths.

I find that normal because I live under censorship and dictatorship for quite some time. Trump was to keep the market alive and doesn't want panic & collapse to happen under him. He's obviously prepared to lie in order to save the market and by lying he's creating a huge problem. The virus is yet to explode in the US and elderly (plus their obesity) are gonna feel it. It's quite sad but I don't see that move as ignorance but will to ANYTHING in order to keep sitting in your chair.
same here
