How do you rate your govts response to this
British Columbia provincial government has done well. Haven’t gone overboard with lockdown/quarantine type measures, most everything is voluntary, kept lots of things open, and working at easing restrictions.

Federal government did way too much pandering to China (and listening to shit WHO advice) in the first two months before it blew up in Canada.

outbreaks in Singapore and South America kind of kill the warmer weather theory
Not familiar with how quickly and the extent of the measures taken there, but at least Singapore doesn't look too bad considering the density of that city.
My point wasn't that warmer temps would stop the outbreak completely but, possibly in combo with humidity, might limit its extent.
What I was trying to say was that we are still don;t know for sure what effects, if any, local weather may have on the spread of the outbreak. This is something we will be learning about it in the coming months.

Singapore did alright but they’ve had to lock down again because they forgot about the migrant workers.

I preface this by saying that I don't know a whole hell of a lot about Canadian politics, do you think that Dr. Tam is under Xi's thumb? I have read that many Canadian's are upset with her handling of Covid.
I wouldn’t say that, no. But certainly a lot of dumbassery around progressive, identity politics and pussyfooting through January to mid-March attempting not to offend or step on China’s toes in any way.

China buying up all the masks around, but Dr Tam coming out for weeks saying the WHO says masks aren’t needed, and South Korea doing mass testing early on and contact tracing but her coming out and saying WHO says contact tracing isn’t necessary and we don’t need to mass test yet... Canada refusing to stop international travel with China because WHO says it isn’t necessary (when just a couple weeks later it became very very apparent that it was absolutely necessary). Canada shouldn’t have been eating CCP bullshit spoonfed through the WHO for so long. And I’m quite liberal, and aside from some of Trudeau’s super annoying identity politics antics, think he has done a relatively good job as prime minister. But they fucked up here imo.

A very informative clip.

Here are the main points:

1. A study from South Korea shows that there are no reinfections just false positive results from unactive virus fragmetns.
2. It looks like hydroxychloroquine works great as a preventative and early medicine.
3. Covid-19 is a blood clotting disease and needs to be treated with blood thinners.

Lol that's nothing.

We've been in complete fuckin lockdown for over a month. You cannot be out on the streets at any time except if you're going to the supermarket BUT you can only go to the supermarket one day of the week depending on the last number of your ID, and supermarkets are only open until noon. Driving is also banned.

I don't even bother going to the supermarket since it's always overcrowded due to these stupid rules. I have to order everything online.
That's because you guys have 1 and a half respirator.

I don't think true introverts exist.

Sure, I often like to be alone for a while, but we all need human contact. And video calls or texting are nowhere near enough.

I actually know them. Two of them are quite extreme.

IMO there are plenty of those and there's just a difference if they are big or small introverts. When you compare those people with extroverts the difference is huge. I also noticed that plenty of gamers are introverts. Again, there's a huge difference between a gamer and an addict to video games. But plenty of people simply like their small space, don't like to go outside and hang out with people and are more into games, books and even animals (not sex). But being an introvert doesn't necessarily mean to be alone all the time. Usually they have a very small group of friends and just stick around with it.

Points 2 and 3 sound like bullshit. Where's the evidence for them?

The video isn't yours so I don't know why you feel offended, even if it was BS. If he was lazy he wouldn't have watched 45 minute long video. :p
He hasn't watched the video. If he had he would have seen that the author had posted all the sources for those points. And because I knew that 99% of the people wouldn't want to be bothered I took some of my time, watched the video and summarized the most important points. And for thank you - he calls it BS.
