I wish, I just need a mid morning snack
I don’t partake anymore, but I did notice that all the cannabis stores here are still open :lol2:

Rest of the world stocking up on TP, sanitizer, non-perishable foods...

Nothing like eating an apple after having smoked on it. Delicious...

I've stocked myself some weed, I just need to get booze and I'm done.
I’ve got a few dozen bottles of red and sparkling to see me through any potential quarantine :boh:

Brooklyn Ultra-Orthodox Community Faces Spike In Coronavirus Infections, Urgent Care Center Confirms

https://www.brownstoner.com/brookly...cases-growing-social-distancing-williamsburg/

There is a mobile testing center in Williamsburg now as there are a cluster of cases, I wonder why. This shit needs to stop.

A friend of mine is a nurse here, she said this yesterday:

Meanwhile a nurse mgr friend of mine in Michigan thinks everyone is overreacting.

"No one here is worried"

"Italy bc they aren't even taking care of the elderly" (paraphrasing) after I commented about Italy. I don't know what that means. Yeah, bc they can't...that's the prob.

Something tells me she'll change her mind in a week or two.

I agree. But after you say it, you state how China is lying and how they are burning people. People are just guessing what's happening in China. Saying that stuff is nothing but fake news really.
The human rights in China for COVID are shocking, now is not the time but it will come out soon enough. I have collaborative studies going on there, they tell me what's going on.

I think this has become something of a lazy statement, considering the reputation of the country and seeing statistics from the outbreak. The Italian healthcare system is consistently ranked one of the highest in the world, especially in the Lombardy region.

As someone who lives in the UK I can say that yes the NHS is fantastic and the staff do a great job, but they are under massive pressure and stress in terms of space, money and staffing even at the best of times. When this hits its peak in the UK it is a massive cause for concern.
Bro, the fact is that 80% of the population will survive the illness but there are those who are at high risk. If they get a bed in ICU they have a good chance of survival but in Italy they filled up quickly. The lack of containment strategy means that more ill people are lining up at hospitals and if they don't get time in ICU they will probably die and this is exactly what is happening. The virus can spread from one to three very quickly therefore the lock downs need to be enforced so that as more people become ill it is at least at a slower rate so that beds are available. This is the truth of it, the youngest person to die in the UK is 40 but he had motor neurone disease. Fast acting countries will come through with the least casualties, what is happening in Iran is shocking.
