I think Tiago wasn't that bad, sure he's not performing like Almiron, but I believe he'll perform soon, he's got it all. he just needs to adapt.

Of course he wasnt bad he played an average first half & a very good second & everybody saw that& even Ranieri praised his performence.
Tiago's job in a team is not easy to be understood by everyone ,he is not the kind a player who score goals,he is not the kind of players who make great assists & he is not also the kind of player who run & fight over every ball on the midfield & tackle everyone.
he is job in midfield is to make possesion & connect the defence to the attack & there are very few players outhere who can do this job right(pirlo,lampard,,van bommel,xavi,alonso etc......) & tiago is one of them.
He just need more time & he will give new prospective to our midfield but I am sure that a lot of people here wont start praising him until he scores or make an assist.

I'm not really sure what you guys see in Tiago tbh. I didn't see yesterday's game but the guy is an average midfielder. If it was up to me there's no way he would ever push Almiron, Zanetti or even Nocerino out of my starting lineup.

Man the guy only played officialy 1 match & 30 min. so far.
I had enough defending him,trust me he will get his startin place in the team very soon & he will prove to everybody that he is worse every penny.

Vinman was never wrong, Tiago and Iaquinta are flops no matter what they do. Ranieri is a loser that will ruin Juve no matter what.

Tiago is not the Tiago of lyon thats for sure. He needs to get his game on with the quickness.

I've said it here before we signed him, Tiago has his moments. Lyon was the best thing that happened to him. But as far as quality goes, yes, I'd take him over Blasi or even Vieira in the 2005 Juve squads of yore, but that's not saying a lot.

I think people who expect him to come in as some sort of savior are going to be terribly disappointed. (I follow the Portuguese NT a ton, and I had mixed feelings about his signing -- but have committed to giving it a go and hoping for the best.) I also think a lot of juventini are holding him up to a standard that will ensure he will fail.

It depends on roles. I would generally prefer him over Zanetti. But he's not the role that Nocerino plays (he's not a snarling, aggressive destroyer).

imo i think he has the potential to be better than almiron but atm he is not playing at his best.

Well, I think that Tiago played quite well last night! In the first half he was nearly invisible, but in the second he was one of our best, I would say. I really like his movement. He is running clever routes when going forward. In the Livorno game, for example, I think that the Nedved goal was partly due to his running into the box, what irritated the defenders, what gave Nedved more time to shoot.

He is not our savior or the best mid we have ever had, but I think he will fit very good to our game. He is a team player, and noone who can turn a game by hhis own....

As for Tiago as I said he played an above average game in overall,I saw most of his games with Chelsea,Lyon & Portugal & he still can do much much better than this but that doesnt mean that he sucked against Parma.
This guy is Pure class & u will see very soon what he is all about but I am sure not anyone can understand what he can do for a team cause a lot of people always look for 2 kind of players,either he scores & assists & be vital offensivly or he defends & tackles,& tiago is neither.

He was average for Chelsea and played for a powerhouse in a weak league in France. Hard to judge him. He has a lot of good qualities, he is just not a great player. I think he is a good roster guy who would be utilized well throughout the course of a season. I certainly don't think he could ever be more important to us that Zanetti, Nocerino or Almiron. Nocerino is the only CM we had that has potential to be great. The others are just really good. Tiago is just average with the potential to be good.

There are Tiago fans and there is everyone else. Tiago fans really hold him in high esteem. I don't think he will ever be as good as you guys think he is, but I am sure that he will be a good element of our team sooner or later. Essien is in a class of his own, being the best destroyer in world football today. He was one of the top three destroyers during his last season with Lyon, so of course Tiago would be first choice from the bench but still a fantastic tool for Mourinho to bring on.
