I went to bed after 1st half ,could not watch it , i was so angry, and could not believe what really happened. it was close to 6am without any sleep so it make things much worse..
But early morning i saw the score, i instantly forgot about a pain. :scarf:

After reading all posts it looks majority of us agree that we need WC LB asap , as well as someone who can cover CD position.
Tiago has to go , and from next game i would like to give a chance to Almiron.
We need WC in midfield asap, Diago? , maybe Seco wanted to buy him but got it mixed up with Tiago!?

Dont want to repeat anything more as we all know what we should do in match against sampdoria.

When is the game against Inter?

and does anyone have video of molinaro just before PK from DP?

just saw the goals and molinaro and grygera are the biggest disappointments. I would excuse boumsong because well i dont have the high expectations from him and he didn't play a competitive for about 3-4 months isn't it ?

but in regards to grygera. After a few games in the beginning of the season( i think a couple of them were roma and fiorentina) i really admired the way he played and especially defensively. He looked assured position wise and a very smart tackler, not much to say offensively but i didn't mind. Then i think he got injured and everything has been going down hill since.
What the hell happened? i can see if a player is rusty but hes been getting injuries since the pre season so i dont understand tbh

i dont think brazzo is playing that bad, i think hes had a decent campaign. Nothing spectacular but he works hard and runs his socks off every game( unlike some other players we have).

we always had players like him who fill in the spots every now and then.

Brazzo isn't adding much to this squad, but he is ok to play him against small teams, Grygera just had a bad match, don't rule him out this fast, he is ok. Marchionni disappointing us lately, he is missing the ball a lot, but he had some good displays in previous matches, like you guys said, time will tell.

Salihamidzic is not too old but he's obviously not young enough to hold a starting position in a team like Juventus. Some 5 years ago he was among the best Rb's in Europe. Now he's only among the best Rb subs in Europe.

But for the way he's been playing so far and how useful he was in many matches (he scored 2 goals and he has 1 assist in serie A, 1 goal in Coppa, his runs won us the point against Parma) he doesn't deserves any critics. He's versatile enough. Plays everywhere on the right side and he can play LB as well. If we had healthy Camoranesi and some very good RB, then Brazzo would have been our perfect sub for 2 or maybe even 3 players.
I don't think we had better subs for the RB or MR positions in the last 10 years or so, did we ?

I think it's very harsh to say that Brazzo doesn't have the quality to play for Juve. Yeah, for being a regular starter perhaps his not Juve material anymore. But for a sub to both Camo and the potentially bought world class RB, he'll be perfect.
Neither Birindelli neither Pessotto were better players than Brazzo but they were still useful as subs and Moggi kept them for years.
Brazzo never gives up, he runs a lot, he's trying and working hard and he's not a Molinaro when he has the ball at his feet. And we got him for free. He was a good piece of bussiness because every team needs such squad players.

I wasn’t happy with Tiago as I expected more from him,” Ranieri raged. “I took him off because he was playing badly.

“Often he chose to play backwards instead of going forward and he performed without personality
.”

Hmm... I wonder why that could be, Mr. Ranieri.

How about we bench you for about ten games, let Christian Damiano take over as allenatore for a change, then see how you feel.

Ranieri wants to show videos about the mistakes in defence, I would like to be there to see some of the players burst into laughter.

how is marco disappointing though? he was good last week and supposedly good yesterday.
    Injuries. Always injured.

Tiago has had quite a few occasions to show his true self, Andy. Thus far he has blown most of them.
Every time he seems to have the rope handed to him to climb outta the sludge, he seems to find a way to slide back in.

    Here's my twopence worth: -

I missed the beginning. I got a stream in time to see Giorgio being subbed! Then I saw Empoli score and then the stream went down. :(

I managed to get on another stream for the second half. When Vinny scored his first, I had hope that we'd make it, but with Empoli equalising minutes later, I was pulling my hair out! Although the stream continued to run until the match ended, I spent more time praying than watching. (Somebody up there likes me 'cos we won!)

The best two on the park for Juve were Vinny and Neddy as far as I could see. Boum was more comical than Coco the clown, Tiago was like a lost sheep - he just doesn't fit into the team and Molinaro again had my crying out "bring back Balza!" With Giorgio subbed Biri was the best defender - a bit cruel to expect a guy his age to defend unaided, but he tried his best.

The "old brigade" were the ones who did the most. Neddy & Zanetti were beginning to lose their temper at the lack of help they got from some of their team-mates. Marco played well considering his lack of playing time and Palla was average. Vinny's determination to play well and win in the second half helped as did DP's presence when he came on.

I can't really judge Belardi, but Empoli's goals stemmed from errors made by the defence and at least two of them left him with "nae chance" to prevent the goals being scored. His confidence is bound to have been dented by his defenders last night.

However, we should give Empoli credit where it's due. They are a "wee team", who rises to the occasion every time they face a big team and give them a hard time. They played on bravely even when down to 10 men (although so were we when Boum came on ).

Anyway, we must look forward now. We face pizzaface's Samp at the weekend and our next Coppa game is with :inter: - sparks will fly in that game!

Thank God we were spared total embarassment......

Its no coincidence that after BUMsong came on in the 34th minute that the entire midfiled and defense fell apart (where the fuck did Tiago go ??)

I'm gonna save myself 30 minutes of typing:

Players that we need to just drop, and disregard the money we've lost (because no one else will sign them for more than 20 cents)-

    BUMsong
    Grygera
    Brazzo
    Molinaro

Players that are not good enough for this team, no matter what formation(s) we try-

    Tiago
Almiron (even though he didnt play tonight)

Players who may or may not work their way into this team-

    Marchionni

The heart and soul of Juventus-

    Nedved
    Iaquinta
    Del Piero
    Zanetti
(and throw in Trez and Gigi as well...even though they had the night off)

    Random thoughts-

    Belardi- left hanging to dry

Palladino- he may be the future, but we needed him tonight

Biri- wasnt as bad as I thought he would be

RUINeri- counting his blessings as we speak

SUCKO- time to start shopping...waaaay too much dead weight here

I couldn't agree with you more.

    except concerning Marchionni and Thiago.

Marchionni: besides Neddy and Zanetti the only one on the pitch who could cross the bell. I wonder what happened to his crosses the minute Del Piero came on, I am telling you it's like he forgot how to make them he suddenly started crossing like Molinaro.

Molinaro: OMG is he awfull. Nedved and Iaquinta were covering left back better than him. I mean ABATE!!!! was blowing our defense to bits, imagine what FIGO, ODDO or MANCINI would do.:rndh:

Thiago: I know he wasn't bought to conduce the ball or to have possesion.

he was bought to distribute the ball, but by GOD he never took a step in possesion of the ball ( I AM NOT JOKING) if you watch a rerun of the game you can actually notice that he NEVER run with it.

as for his distribution of the ball Palladino And Nedved were doing that better than him.

but that is not all without the ball he never ran either, he reminded me of a spanish player, a player that if you don't know where he is you just look for someone WALKING around the pitch doing NOTHING!

he reminds me of GUTI!!! GOT DAMNED!!!:wth:

    I AM PISSED!!!! :angry2:

As for Thiago, Molinaro, Grygera and BUMsong's future. i have three words for the board RELEASE THESE MOTHERF*UCKERS.

haha Imagine Buffon cracks up :lol2:
i would'nt be surprised if buffon got up from his chair and showed molinaro and bum the finger after watching the video to be honest. and on several occasions we ve seen how buffon just explodes when his defense pulls a dumb stunt he just goes insane and he deserves too.
