My thoughts on the game..
First of all we were lacking alot of key players, Buffon, Chiellini, Zebina, Andrade, Camoranesi, Salehamdizc and Nedved. 7 players who are more or less first 11 choice. We were playing at San Sero. So lets not inter brat about them playing with their 2nd formation cause we were doing so too.

Now to our performance. If you exclude Del Piero other players did not put a really impressive show. Del Piero was literally everything Juve were about today. He got Burdiso a red card, he was running everywhere from Belardi to Toldo non stop, tired using different ways of passing (although unfortunately we weren't openning up the game for him well), scored a goal and was literally involved in almost every single play Juve did today.

Now looking at the rest of the team. Belardi did some hidious moves but cannot be blamed for the goals. First goal was partially Legro's fault but mostly Grygera's. The second goal was Boumsong doing what he does best.
Molinaro simply cannot cross the ball, where his position requires someone who is top notch crosser. Nocerino and Zanetti did some fine closing downs but they were too slow today in converting attacks. If it wasn't for Del Piero going back to start the attack we wouldn't have moved a single inch. Palladino tries too much to dribble. He should look at Del Piero and observe him more. If you can pass the ball or shoot then do it. Iaquinta was out of him game tonight as well.
Trezeguet did not get alot of balls, but he did assist Del Piero nicely.

C. Ranieri, I cannot Criticise him alot today. The game (over all) was managed ALRIGHT. Nothing brilliant, but he was better than Mancini

What an uninspiring display. Our football is terrible. Simple passes culminating in crosses that never amount to anything, repeated over and over. Even worse, we were a man up and were being outplayed. Pathetic.

Belardi and Boumsong are shit, responsible for goal's 1 and 2 respectively. I dont care if he scored the equalizer, he has no defensive instincts at all and is a liability when on the pitch.

Good result, but a shit performance.

And with this great result everything will be forgoten. Our huge problems in defense, our 0% creativity, our cluelessness, everything will be forgotten and Ranieri will be the hero.

Thank you Del Piero for your great performance. He played everything in our midfield and our attack. He ran more than all the others together.

Well, the moment we went down to 9 men when Matrix went out injuried, I knew there will be goal

we wasted a 2-0 lead, but 2-2 against Juve with ten men, I'll live with that, but the away leg wil be too hard for reserves, Juve went at us with a first team squad, we need to respond well in the away game

This is Juve's first 11 if you have not idea:

Zebina --> Missing
Legro

Not only that we were missing players who are considered second choice, as in Salehamdizc and Marcchionni who only played 5 min of the game.

Bellardi 5.00 , The guy has an awful luck to be compared to Buffon but he isn't helping himself at all. I won't blame him for the second goal but for the first one it's more his fault than Legro's. Why the fuck do you go up and then behind and then stand like a statue ?

Birindelli 5.5 , I noticed him few times when we were attacking. I think he was told not to try making a cross.

Molinaro 5.5/6.0 , Some comical situations with him. Once when he made that cross, once when Solari made a fool out of him, once when he slipped. But he wasn't so bad overall. For the first time in his life he made 2 successful crosses.

Legrottaglie 5.0/5.5 , Giulty for the first goal and always uncomfortable with Cruz around. At the start he almost costed us a goal when he slipped with the ball in front of our box.

Grygera 6.0 , Nothing special at all but he striked me as the most secure of all our defenders.

Nocerino 5.0 Bad

Zanetti 7.0 After few average performance he was solid this time. Won many balls and even covered the left side of our midfield. He was very motivated against his old team tonight.

Marchionni , No Ratings

Palladino 4.0 , I stopped counting when i got to 8 unsuccessfull attempts to pass his guard. He's been pathetic today. Apart from 5minutes in the first half the rest was disguisting to watch. He's doing what i hate the most in football, he's trying to dribble all the time even though his previous 100000000 attempts weren't successfull.

Iaquinta 5.0 , Twice in a row very very bad

Trez 5.50, beh, apart from the assist he wasn't any better than Iaquinta

Del Piero 9.0, With Nedved and Camo out he took the job of 3 players : Nedved's, Camo's and his own. He was getting fouled all over the place but he wasn't whining like 9 out 0f 10 Italian football players would have done. He took it like a man and after he was fouled you could have seen him on the other side of the pitch running and creating.
We're so lucky to have him

Boum Boum 7.00 , Only because of the goal and the way he celebrated it.
He didn't miss to be in the center of everything when we conceded the second goal, though

We lack an offensive player in our midfield . just imagine if Giovinco was there on the pitch .

It would make much difference . really crap performance from our midfield , and i wondor why Ranieri kept Palladino for the whole 90 minute . Take him off , and put Tiago in !!

I really don't think he was better than Mancini, he was good with the subs, but Mancio had everything against him and almost got away with a win against Juve with 10 men, the subs were perfect that of Mancio, if it weren't for the goal by Alex scored as Matrix was outside, the result in my mind would have differed a bit.
The second goal by Boumsong was from a set piece, in all of your organised attacks you failed to materialize them into goalscoring chances after that Del Piero goal.
I think Mancio's tactics were better and would have won if it weren't for the red card, the injury to Matrix and unfortune

iaquinta, palla and nocerino were awful, del piero is the king. our best player on the field today.

but you shouldn't be so happy, guys. bad part- we played like shit, i really thought there's no chance for us to score. good part- somehow we did it. twice.

the important thing- we didn't lose for those fuckers again. we must qualify and eliminate them. and, of course, play much better.

I don't think I'm being harsh on Nocerino. He hasn't been playing well even when fielded in the center of the pitch so he should be benched in my opinion. Time for Almiron to get a few chances maybe.

it is funny how we draw 2-2 with Nedved, Gigi, Camo, Andrade, Zebina and Chiellini yet most of the ppl here are still crying. sure we played bad .. but we fucked inter over in their backyard.

Now we take it to turin and play well hopefully.

If you told me last season on our return to the topflight we would have Boum, Leggro, Molinero, Biri and Grygera on the field against Inter in the Coppa i would have freaked. Yet we came out with a draw.
