Look, Zanetti - Nocerino has been a close to perfect pairing.
And this explains why the Tinkerman isn't rotating his central midfielders. These two play two terrific matches against Palermo and Milan and after these matches there were people saying "fuck off Ranieri for not giving a chance to Tiago".

We all want Tiago to play, but why should we force this if there isn't a reason for that ?

Why are you looking to bench Nocerino? I love what we've done with him. We've taken a young Italian prospect and given him a chance and he's been excellent so far this season. Why not give Marchisio that same chance?
That way we have wasted 12 milion euros and yet again because of Ranieri. He wanted Tiago here and he`s even barely giving him a chance. He always prefers Nocerino over him.Im not saying Nocerino is crap but why the hell did we sign Tiago for?

Juventus Cobolli Gigli 'We had the right incentives'

22:59, 06 December

The president of Juventus Giovanni Cobolli Gigli accepts ko of Empoli, but does not permit new oversights. "It is a result that we can accept, I saw a little bit of grit on the part of ours, but only in recovery. It happened once, should not happen a second. Today Maybe not had the right stimuli." The eyes of Cobolli Gigli is already projected to the future: "Playing against Atalanta, a team in which we can create many difficulties. Giovinco? Show play so we are pleased. Returns will be useful when new in bianconero.

Because we paid 12 freaking milions for him.We could`ve used Marchisio for that and buy someone else.Tiago is not material for bench. If Ranieri keeps keeping him on the bench then we should sell him.

Yea but when you have Zanetti, Nocerino, Tiago and Marchisio, you don't actually need more. Four good midfielders that can be rotated smartly.
I dont think that we will keep Tiago either,CR wont give him the chance to prove himself...
Almiron+Tiago+Olivera out for a player > Nocerino+Marchisio

I admit Zanetti and Nocerino are a great pair in the middle...but what bothers me the most is that when we need creativity in a game to get the ball flowing CR chooses not to put in Tiago but defenders and wingers.....If we play too defensive in the mid and not attack our chances of scoring becomes less with no creativity......

I also think that Tiago will be given a chance, with Zanetti or Nocerino this season. Right now we have a depleted defense and we need a lot of support for it.

So you want to bench Nocerino, who is in great form, just because we paid 12m for Tiago? I don't see the logic. I'm all for Tiago getting a chance but Nocerino has earned his place and deserves to play.

Did someone notice who made the mistake for the second goal ?

I think it was one of our central defenders who made a terribile pass and then it was Almiron who couldn't catch Empoli's player.
I believe it was Criscito that started that chain of events.

To me, you have to start Nocerino and Zanetti until someone else emerges that can do most of what they can do, and some things they can't. Sadly, that's not Tiago (yet) and probably never Almiron.

However, there is absolutely no reason why Tiago should not be in nearly every game as a substitute for Zanetti or Nocerino to improve flow and passing when the other team's midfield and defense has been worn down a little. Its the only way to get him up to par. There's definitely hope for Tiago.

As for Almiron... I think its the classic case of being a big fish in a small pond with Empoli, and being a small fish in a big pond with Juventus. Almiron won't adjust to Ranieri and Ranieri won't adjust to Almiron. Let him try to rebuild his career somewhere else. Recall Marchisio.

Bad translation but...

Ranieri Juventus' Giovinco from us? It is too soon '

23:09, 06 December

The Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri after ko Empoli: "Do not do an exchange Almiron-Giovinco. If I did tarperei wings to our young that we were today, would only training. This is not his good" .
The race lost Ranieri has really little to say: "We have carried the ball for too horizontal streets, doing their game. Are not disappointed, I had responses from children who have played less this year, the difficulties have arisen from the fact that we been too leziosi, we made too many horizontal played in a few deep. reaction there was only after the expulsion: thanks to an invention by Alex we were able to score the goals that allows us to believe in the qualification

Tiago gets a chance to fight his way to first 11, and he plays as shambolic as he did tonight. Doesnt matter what his price was, if he doesnt step up, he cant break up a well working pair.

We all wondered what is Tiago doing wrong in the training for Ranieri not to trust him, despite he bought him. Well we saw tonight that Tiago is too easily pushed and bossed around in midfield. He cant really handle the pressure and hold down our midfield. Just too tossed around physically to impose himself in the midfield. This the 2nd or 3rd time I notice he cant cut in that role. But this time it was a whole game, a game in which he badly needed to step up, but failed to. Ranieri is NOT to blame for Tiago not coping with this. Tiago just needs to work more at it, and gradually work his way into the team if he is capable. Until then, those who perform BETTER and more efficient, should and will start (not to mention Almiron is just pure suckage, but Tiago is supposed to give some creative or passing range for his lack of DM work, but he didnt that well even, missed 2m sitters).

I find the hilarious reaction of automatically yelling fire Ranieri for everything quite hilarious. And oh usually he gets stick for benching some players, but now that they all played, they failed to deliver, he is yet again criticised for the reverse, for playing them "all" (funny someone said Ranieri is too stubborn with playing the same players allways...he is Tinkerman :D He has tried out alot of different players throughout the season, he is no Capello who just settles with the same core, but sadly...our reserves SUCK). Its an unimportant venue, and the reserve got time and chance to see if they can fight their way to first 11, well they didnt. Its their responsiblity and their call to do so.

Btw, hilarious someone called Biri, the worst player in the game, our best defender.

We can say that we made the mistake back in the summer, but keeping him on the bench at this moment is not a mistake.

Ranieri thought that Tiago-Zanetti will work OK. Tiago didn't play good on summer friendlies, he probably didn't/doesn't show enough in the trainings and he lost his place.

But here is a question :
Our defense played terribile and it's still a mistake prone defense. With Noce-Zanetti we're protecting ourselves much better than we'd have done that with Tiago-Zanetti.
So, defensive-wise, we need Zanetti-Nocerino because we'll conceed a goal or two in every single match if we don't defend the midfield like crazy so we'd prevent our opponents from dealing with our defenders.
On the other hand, with Tiago-Zanetti we're more creative and we'll probably score more goals.
Now the question : What do we need more at this point and with these players, Better defense or Better attack ?

you say thank God for Iaquinta i say thank God for ranieri, Almiron managed to ruin what was supposed to be a try-out ending in a draw, he was behind both conceded goals and managed to get thrown out. Tiago has no mechanics with the players on the field be it passing or positioning.

Its not the point in money.Since no one understood what i meant i`ll just stop talking here.
I think I understand you. You think that signing Tiago was a waste of time seeing as he never starts, and that we could have spent the money on a position which needed filling more desperately, i.e. defense. If we played him more, then fair enough, we will won't be wasting money as much.

yes?
