Tiago gets a chance to fight his way to first 11, and he plays as shambolic as he did tonight. Doesnt matter what his price was, if he doesnt step up, he cant break up a well working pair.
We all wondered what is Tiago doing wrong in the training for Ranieri not to trust him, despite he bought him. Well we saw tonight that Tiago is too easily pushed and bossed around in midfield. He cant really handle the pressure and hold down our midfield. Just too tossed around physically to impose himself in the midfield. This the 2nd or 3rd time I notice he cant cut in that role. But this time it was a whole game, a game in which he badly needed to step up, but failed to. Ranieri is NOT to blame for Tiago not coping with this. Tiago just needs to work more at it, and gradually work his way into the team if he is capable. Until then, those who perform BETTER and more efficient, should and will start (not to mention Almiron is just pure suckage, but Tiago is supposed to give some creative or passing range for his lack of DM work, but he didnt that well even, missed 2m sitters).
I find the hilarious reaction of automatically yelling fire Ranieri for everything quite hilarious. And oh usually he gets stick for benching some players, but now that they all played, they failed to deliver, he is yet again criticised for the reverse, for playing them "all" (funny someone said Ranieri is too stubborn with playing the same players allways...he is Tinkerman

He has tried out alot of different players throughout the season, he is no Capello who just settles with the same core, but sadly...our reserves SUCK). Its an unimportant venue, and the reserve got time and chance to see if they can fight their way to first 11, well they didnt. Its their responsiblity and their call to do so.
Btw, hilarious someone called Biri, the worst player in the game, our best defender.
