Neymar already won the Olympics so it doesn’t really matter. But it does matter for Messi who has failed at every opportunity he had.
I don’t really hate anybody but the so called greatest of all time not winning a single trophy even though he had a thousand tries would have a stain on his career. Even more because of where he’s from and what Maradona represents to his people.

Oh it's final already. Brazil and Argentina, colour me surprised.
Even the game itself doesn't have much meaning, it's still big thing for those countries. Nobody in europe really gives a damn about who's the champion is, but as a game there's 2 best teams from SA so it could be a good one. Might actually sneak in.

I mean there’s no comparison it’s not even fair. In SA there’s Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay and once in a blue moon you’ll see a strong Chile/Colombia/Paraguay.
In Europe you could name somewhere between 4-8 1st tier teams, another 4-6 who are almost at the same level and maybe even another 4 who aren’t as great but still good.
And if we’re gonna talk WC football and you take Brazil out of the equation it’s getting close to 40 years since another South American side won it.
