nah big SA teams living in a previous era where you think one star and some attackers with technical skill are going to coast you to victory. European sides meanwhile are much more disciplined tactically and attack and defend as units, no or at most 1 star allowed to not track back.

The superior technical skill of a brazil or Argentina might still be enough to guide it past a mediocre European side but when it comes up, with this current mentality, against an on form France or Germany it will get slapped.

I know this will hit Crimsonianking particularly but its not the 80s anymore.

Oh no it won't hit me I'm very aware things have changed. But to be brutally honest the first part of your post I'm not sure i fully agree with.

If you take the 5 top SA NTs the great majority of players play in Europe, not only that but most of them have been there from a very young age, so they were "disciplined" the European way.

Nowadays it's pretty normal to have a 15, 16 year old who didn't even get much first team experience IF ANY at their local club move to Europe. Firmino, Coutinho, Casemiro and a hundred other examples are justplayers who were nobodies/bench warmers until they moved to Europe.

And don't I know it's not the 80's anymore :klin:

I know this Brazil team is a circus, horrible passing and disgusting first touch and even worse finishing but if we lose to this shitty ass Argentina I really think we should just close the doors.
