Brazil will be without most of their stars. They will play young players and try new tactics for the World Cup. Parreira said the Copa América will be a "Lab" for Brazil.
The goalscorer of the Copa Libertadores, Luis Fabiano, will team up with Adriano on the attack. Alex will be in the midfield.

Argentina will be without some of their stars, but will be with young players like Tevez, Saviola and D'Alessandro. They will be without Samuel, Cambiasso, Aimar, Riquelme and Crespo.

A big loss for Mexico will be striker Cuauhtémoc Blanco because of a ban Conmebol gave him after a rude behaviour in a Copa Libertadores match. Blanco wont be able to play any event thats sponsored by Conmebol for a year.

The only time i watched the Copa America was a few years back when Martin Palermo missed 3 penalties in one match.

That was funny :D

brazil and argentina are the ones to have a look at.
Don't you think it will be the same scenario with the Euro 2004 with the small team winning?

Forza Venezula!!

the surprising result : Peru 2 : 2 Bolivia :thumb:

i was watching this game just for curiosity,,,nd it turned to be one of those games that u enjoy seeing :D

Bolivia started very defensive.... Greek style.
They were playing against the home team with a packed stadium and Peru were pressing them the whole game.

The goals in this game were just class....specially´s the 2-0 goal from Bolivia.

Someone send a long pass to the lone striker who was being chased in the edge of the keeper´s area, by the goalkeeper, and there were 3 defenders more in the area.
The guy (who had the goalkeeper at his back)..did a backheel auto-pass...passing the ball thru the goalkeeper´s legs (wooaaa here) and then... he sended a shoot with some curl to avoid the 3 defenders in the area...just to put the ball one the left side of the net!! :thumb:

That goal alone was enough to buy the tickets :D

Not only they ripe off Ecuador 6-1, but they made a great display of spectacular playing. not very efective in the scoring...because they spent first time failing easy goals...Ecuatorians are lucky of not receiving at least 4 or 5 goals more...
