All the Copa America games I've watched so far have been great! The soccer is so much faster than European soccer, and they don't waste much time. It's attack-minded soccer, imo, the best kind.
As Eaglesnake_1 else pointed out, I don't see evidence of your comments here either. (Though Chile-Paraguay didn't help much. And Adriano's hat trick against Costa Rica was against, well, Costa Rica.)

I honestly wonder how much of your "attack-minded" soccer comes down to poor defense too. And if you look at the scorelines, it hasn't been all that different than, say, this past Euro (unless you're playing Greece ;) ).

It seems that we get these calls for more attack-minded soccer on a weekly basis. Tell you what. Let's just cut the field length and width by two-thirds, make bigger nets, half the number of players, put up walls and allow play off of them, and call it "indoor soccer" to enable lacrosse scores of 18-15 and the like and be done with it. Meanwhile, I'll go on watching what the rest of the world watches...

Thats true about poor defense, but I do think that here they play with more of an attack mind than just to go out to the field and secure a 0-0 result.

I thought the Euro was way better anyways

hey fabs, how are venezuela doing? likely to go through?
    No :)

They really sucked in the match against Peru (second match), but against Colombia they lost because of an unfair penalty and they were unlucky not to score...

If they win today against Bolivia they have to wait for the other teams to see who is the best third placed team of the three groups, and go through

Bautista's goal was one of the more amazing ones of the tournament.

As for the Argentina-Uruguay match, what slop! All that hacking and kicking... the referees should have laid down the law sooner. (Even with the red card and all.) I'm surprised that Uruguay kept it interesting as long as they did.

Boy, could they use Recoba and Cheva... though they may yet still qualify for the QFs.

...And so Brazil goes down to Paraguay, and deservedly so. In an earlier WC qualifier this summer, they played pretty much dead-even with Brazil's first team of Ronaldo, Kaka, Dida, Cafu, etc. So I expected Paraguay to defeat Brazil here ... fielding their tier 2 team (it wasn't a surprise to me at least).

IMO, the teams to beat thus far look like Columbia and Argentina, with Mexico and Brazil as dark horses.
