That piece of information Turk gave is highly irrelevant to referees being against juve ( although they have given more ghost penalties against us than one can imagine ) . Juve's style of play is much more aggressive than that of Inter and Milan . If you watch their games ( Milan , Inter ) then you'll know what I'm talking about .
It's not that we play dirty or anything . Milan and Inter always have more possesion than us when they play , they don't need to defend as much as us . Juve on the other hand don't always have control of the ball so you would probably see them play very aggressive defense to get the ball back .
It's just a matter of different styles of play .
That's true.
However, we have 6 cards for penalties made that were not penalties at all and we have 5 cards for protesting.
We talked about this in serie A topic after Cagliari-Milan. Milan players couldn't stop protesting, couldn't stop yelling at the ref and they didn't get a single yellow for protesting. Zebina and Ranieri got a red card for protesting .
Ok, maybe Milan players use different words while our players are mentioning refs sister or mother when they protest....but we're really not threated as a big club anymore.
We do play much more dirty and we do defend more than these 2 teams. We make nasty fouls, that's also true. But 1/4 of the cards we got weren't because of some nasty fouls.
The main point here isn't about Milan and Inter having more than double less cards than we do. The main point is that the refs threat them as big clubs (which they are, of course), while we're treated like we're some perennial mid-table team with a budget of 5m euro and without any tradition.
