Lazio midfielder Giuliano Giannichedda has confirmed one of the worst kept secrets in Italian football - he's on his way to Juventus in the summer.
Giannichedda chose to break ranks yesterday after weeks of speculation that he had agreed to join Juve next season on a Bosman.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito threw everything but the kitchen sink at Giannichedda, including the option of a role with the club after he retires.
But the midfielder confirmed yesterday: "I will give my best for Lazio until June. I have not reached an agreement with the Biancocelesti and if I must consider another a team, I consider myself joining Juve, even if there is nothing official to say on this at the moment."
Bayern Munich have also confirmed today that they wanted to keep R. Kovac, but Juve offered him more money than they can match, hence they have to let him go.
