Greece last year was like Haley's comet. Pretty spectacular in the moment. But you'll have to wait another 76 years for them to come around again. Add to that Porto in last year's CL and Liverpool in this year's CL for that matter.
They dont have the eyes of the tiger anymore,
as i said before the confederations cup,
they dont have the hunger abymore

indeed recent years it has shown that victors in competition are often more hungry commited and dedicated to winning, with far less expectation.

Porto and Liverpool's victorys in the CL are a long way from Reals confidence in in winning from the begining.

Australia must really sack their coach!!!!

Lost to Germany...then blame the referee

Lost to Argentina...then blame the referee

Lost to Tunisia...knew blaming the referee won't work...then say
the defence is not good enough...

How Pathetic!!!

A shame? Yes. Brazil got through by the skin of their teeth. They lazied their way past the group stage. Japan looked equally dangerous, and Mexico played a better match than them.

Which is why I wonder about their prospects in WC 2006. You can never count them out. But this time, Brazil is looking a little fat around the middle, if you know what I mean. And I don't just mean Ronaldo.

Australia really must improve ahead of the crucial play-off against South american 5th team....if they are to qualify for the World cup....
