He is a good man , undeniable , but he just doesn't fit il grande Juventus , we need who has a champion mentality , not a mediocre like he used to spread in these last 2 years .

If Ranieri turns out to be the coach of Palermo next season, he's going to take the team to Europe... Unless of course Zamparini fires him if he loses two matches on the trot... Ranieri was and will always be a good manager for a mid table team... He just didn't have enough to take a team like Juve right to the top...

At any case, i am expecting from Palermo to make an offer for Molinaro soon:drool:
He's already there, looking for a house with Marchionni :)

Juventus is indestructible, but I'm not sure Palermo as a whole is big and strong enough to resist two seasons of Tinkering. I'm sure they will have a good start with Ruinieri, but I wouldn't be surprised if after two years of his "work" they imploded like Valencia or Juve and went straight to serie C.

Or like Valencia the first time or Chelsea before the Russian and go straight to the CL spot... He might not have been good for us, but he's still a good coach... You talk as if he destructed Juve, he didn't.. he just wasn't good enough for us... He's been successful in the past if you are forgetting... He might not have won any silverware but he has had his successes...

Ranieri is a good coach but not for Juve
let's just leave it at that
there has to be a click between a coach and a club and that just wasn't there anymore

Ranieri is good coach and can easily coach any of the top 4-5 teams in any league.

Remember that Roma had on paper better team than us last season, and look at them.

I can proudly say that I never had any hate for anyone in football or around, however there is one person.
Zamparini.. He is such an idiot that i would ban him from football for life.

And Ranieri will be even bigger idiot if he joins them.

I disagree. He can coach teams from 7th to 10th, but definitely not a coach for a team fighting for titles. If the limit of your ambitions is 3rd, then Ranieri is the man for you.

Ranieri: Chelsea fans will love Ancelotti
03.06.09 | tribalfootball.com

Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is confident fans will love new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Ranieri, the last Italian to manage the Stamford Bridge outfit, said: "Ancelotti is a fantastic manager and a good choice for Chelsea.

"He is one of the best managers in the world, right up there with Alex Ferguson, Marcelo Lippi, Fabio Capello, Jose Mourinho and the rest.

"Now you have The Four Tenors in England because Ancelotti has joined Ferguson, Benitez and Wenger. And he will have as big a voice as any of the others in the Premier League.

"He has won a lot of trophies, including two Champions Leagues - and he can win the Champions League with Chelsea too.

"The club has come so close in recent years. There was John Terry's penalty miss in Moscow in last year's final, then the last-minute Barcelona goal in this year's semi-final second leg. All Carlo has to do is keep Chelsea in that top four or five clubs in Europe who can win it.

"After that, Chelsea just need a bit of luck - and Carlo is a lucky manager. That's partly why he can win Chelsea the Champions League - and the fans will love him."

Ranieri, who managed Chelsea from 2000 to 2004, also shrugged off fans' fears over Ancelotti's struggles with the English language.

He added: "The Chelsea fans are fantastic and they will love Carlo Ancelotti. They will realise that Carlo is at the start of a new experience and needs a little time.

"But he speaks some English already. When I arrived in London I didn't know any. Ray Wilkins helped me out at the beginning because he speaks Italian and he is there again to help out Ancelotti now.

"But Carlo already speaks a lot more English than I did when I arrived in London. And after a few weeks he will speak it even better than he does now.

"Besides, there is only one language in football."
