We don't need to wait for that to happen. Try to be more objective, and less biased, or does he need to play until he is 40 like Maldini?

It's always better to retire when you are on top, and not be ridiculed; I don't want him to become a burden or liability, because I love the man.
and how were Maldini's performances, even at the age of 41? thanks

Then stop defending Ranieri "indirectly"

And your point is? It's quite pointless arguing with you, as you are as biased as they come. I am not arguing with playing him, merely stating that others need to be given ample opportunities as he is not getting any younger, and can't perform 3 times a week.

Thats exactly our problem there, we dont have neither a solid defense presently, or a future prospect of raising one in the near future.
How can we expect to become competitive in 2-3 years from now, for ex.
When both Mellberg and Legro will be relics, Ariaudo still too young to become a starter. Canna playing in Napoli at Maldini age and our limited fullbakcs still haunting our dreams...

CR :''During yesterday's weekly press conference, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri said: "I am fine. I am working knowing what I am doing well and what I have to improve. I am not concerned with rumours about my future. .... We could have done much better this season, but the players are on my side. We are a tight unit who wants to win. .... I am glad we signed Diego for next season. I picked him, that means I want to work with him"

This was CR in 17.5.09 :D:D:D

i just think this must be posted in his history

biased as they come? when did this happen? the fact of the matter is that Ale is still our best player and is delivering the goods day in day out...players these days are fitter than ever and if Maldini can still be a top player at age 41, who's so say Ale can't maintain the same level of performance?
