He still shouldn't have vented to the public, it was unprofessional. There isn't any problem voicing your concerns face to face to your coach, but to the media. That's a low blow and childish. Trez had no problem telling the world how he felt but didn't have the balls to tell Ranieri to his face? C'mon give me a break. Players obviously are allowed to disagree with their coach, its sports, they are professionals, no one likes to be subbed. You don't hear Amauri telling the media<"I should have started, I am the leading goal scorer, I earned it. Trez has barely played and I should have started over him!! It is my coaches fault"....
If it was so right what he did then why aren't all the other players voicing their concerns to the public about their coach?

That was the last thing we could wish for. Coaches may make wrong decisions and bringing out Trez could be one of these wrong decisions made by Ranieri but what if every player had the right to protest against every ruling? Pecking order is just there for every one to see and if one refuses to mind it, it will lead to a big chaos in the team. Our old guard are supposed to be the role models for the young players and throwing the jackets or speaking shit about the coach won't help.
Ranieri on the other hand acted like a little girl feeding the media with his words. He could have spoken to Trez and fined him by not using him for a match or two but he chose the most unwise way.

The fact that they said anything in the press is wrong imo. They should know better than that and especially Ranieri. Drop him from the squad, fine or do whatever but don't air our dirty laundry. I expect better conduct from the management because they are in that position.
Trezi is in the wrong there is no denying that but you would expect acts like that from players not the management. Alex throws tiny tantrums when he gets subbed from time to time but nothing of this magnitude is said.

Another typical scenatio where a small case is totally blown out of proportions. Everybody knows that the media likes to overhype things to attract attention, but too bad this time Trez and Ranieri are the 1s dominating the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Trezeguet is fucking stupid. He got 80 minutes and didn't score in those 80, so what chances is he gonna have when he's tired...he's slow even when the game first starts, after 80 he might as well be invisible.
Yeh yeh hes a deadly finisher and all that bs that people will tell me after this post, but what are we gonna really create with a 2nd string midfield (no nedved, no camo, no sissoko), though the midfield did fairly well without, and down to 10 men.
The answer is: not much at all . Not to mention Trez hasn't even played too many matches since he came back from injury, so he may be match fit, but not super fit.
So, bringing on a man who can hold up the ball times better, create his own chances, and has fresh legs was a perfect decision, if there's anyone who coulda bitched it woulda been Iaquinta, he got taken off pretty early and was playing well and scored. What Ranieri said is exactly true, down to 10 men with Trezeguet on is like having 9 men on the field, having 9 men on against Chelsea with the likes of their defense and Essien and co. = suicide, so introducing a fresh Amauri was the right decision, and Trez was lucky not to be taken off earlier in the first place.

Ranieri: «Against Bologna to turn a new leaf»
There is no time to reflect upon the Champions League adventure. Three days after the good but unlucky performance against Chelsea, Juventus is back in the championship. For the fourth consecutive Saturday, the bianconeri will be playing on Saturday.
Having beaten Palermo, Napoli and Torino, Ranieri’s team will be trying to land a poker against Bologna. «We will be playing against a team who gained more points at home rather then away thanks to their counter-attacks. Mihajlovic has made everybody responsible but we must beware mostly of Di Vaio. I am happy for him for what he is achieving. He is a great guy and he has won back the consistency that had landed him a place at Juventus. We must try to stop him, allowing only bad balls to get to him».
At the Olimpico Juventus will therefore be hosting an opponent which is ready to do anything to win points against relegation. This is not the best opponent to face after a great effort during the week and many absences (the latest those of Amauri and Trezeguet). It will be a hurdle to jump in order to proceed with the title race: «For us, this match will be fundamental especially on a psychological level – confirmed Ranieri -, we must show that we managed to turn over a new leaf after the Champions League. We were busy on an international level, we left a good impression but now we must return to Italy and do well. The title race? We will not think of what the others will do on Sunday just like we did not do so on Tuesday, even though I must say I am very sorry all the Italian teams were eliminated even though I never thought that the English teams were much superior».
There is however, another aspect of the elimination against Chelsea which has rendered Mr Ranieri disappointed: the statements given by Trezeguet at the end of the match by which he complained publicly with regards to having been substituted: «We were one man down and were not managing to surround Chelsea and that is why I inserted a player with different characteristics. On the eve of the match David was fresher then Amauri and this is why I gave him the possibility of playing for 80 minutes. A player who has been out for 4 months should not have felt the way he did but should have been happy of having been given the possibility of playing in the most important match. His words bothered me because he did not tell me but the newspapers and these are things that should be kept within the dressing rooms. Tomorrow he will not be playing due to muscle strain».

BTW Jose will never come to Juventus, and do you know why?
We dont have money to spend on players he would want to have (also they might be real flops, not like some of ours who can just get ruined)
and on top of that, he could not win anything with players he would have at his disposal..So why should he risk and cos of us loose his so much loved "special" status..
Im sure some fans would want him cos he can talk to media so much better than CR

i understand, but if journalists keep nagging and asking...Would you just keep quite, change subject, and if they dont stop, leave conference just like Mr. Jose, and knowing that they will hunt you even more???
Im sure Trez is sorry and will apologize to everyone, just like Chiellini did at beginning 1st season in seria A , when he said that he will leave if he is not in first team.

You do know how we scored the first goal, yes? And Trez had two virtually impossible headers on target too.I'm with Sateeh on this one, Trezeguet shouldn't have done it, but Ranieri mishandled it, too.
If the journalists keep nagging, you come up with some classy response, like "I understand Trezeguet, he's just mad because we lost" or something like that. You don't talk shit back.
And what concerns me the most: this is a response from Mr. Nice Guy Ranieri. He almost never says bad things about anyone. I have a bad feeling that there are some serious issues between him and Trezeguet, or maybe even other players, and that this is just the top of the iceberg.
