I'm not justifying what has trezi has done, as that was clearly a mistake. Had Ranieri fined him and dropped I wouldn't have a single issue with it. But the way they handled it in the press is disappointing to say the least.

A cynical man would suggest that they responded in that fashion because they want to ease his transfer out of the club.

Backing Trez or any other player on the occasions similar to this one is really absurd no matter how out-of-place the coach and the board are.
That's a point of personal perspective. Ale, he made a mistake - all of us make mistakes, but we're not under the microscope. That's it. The comments were bad, and Ranieri's were in poor taste also. Everyone needs to move on, and forgiveness is key. Some would say that it's critical TO SUPPORT (I don't mean support his comments) a player in a situation like this; he's obviously facing some backlash, and he's going to be important for us going forward. We need Trezeguet feeling good about himself for the future.

By the way, I believe there is a difference between Trez and simply "any other player." When you're talking about a player who has given so much to this team, and is largely responsible for our revival, forgiveness definitely comes a little easier. This is not, say, Marchionni we're talking about, here. You must know how much Trez loves these colors, and I'm just not able to hold a grudge against him for something like this.

Everyone wants our board to have a backbone and show it...they did and they showed they will not stand for it.
If they had an inch of a backbone they would have dealt with this professionally & not like a wrestling match. They lost my respect.

Some how I don't think you respected them anyways, not many people here do. I am sure though you would jump at the chance to have Mourinho as our coach, even though he is not afraid to bash his players via the media, but I guess cuz its Mourinho it makes it ok...

I am certain they are dealing with it behind doors.

~if a student in your class misbehaves, do you take them in the hall and discipline them or do you do it in front of the class to make an example of them and show as a leader/teacher you wont stand to be pushed around let alone in front of others?

Mourinho's methods make me sick. Obviously, my dislike of his behavior is exacerbated by the fact that Inter is our most hated of rivals. All due respect to his ability as a coach and motivator, but I NEVER want to see him at Juventus.

It would also never happen, for obvious reasons. He'll stay at Inter for a few years trying to win that CL, but if he ever gets it, I think he'd leave shortly afterwards. He clearly doesn't enjoy coaching in Italy all that much, and I think he wants an opportunity to try and conquer Spain (as well as coach a National team).

I am glad you and I are on the same page with Mourinho, but that wasn't directed to you;)

See what happens? People here have been screaming play Giovinco, play Giovinco, play Giovinco and scrap the straight 4-4-2 for months now.

What happens? We finally do, but at the point when it's too late.

Just goes to show Ranieri is not the right man for the job. And yes, some people here would in actuality do a better job than he would.

And too bad if people don't like that opinion.

Unfortunately, too much valuable time has been wasted, till CR has finally discovered Giovinco's potential...
He would make a fine alternative tactical solution and would have brought solutions, in many many cases, there wasnt any of them.

Fortunately though, it is not too late for Giovinco's carrier in Juve!
