I'm just suggesting potentials, i'm not saying we'll get these guys or anything like that.
What your saying about Gasperini, people said about Lippi. Seriously, with the teams Gasperini has managed what more do you expect out of him? Even Jesus Christ couldn't have won anything with Genoa. And most importantly Gasperini is Juve through and through and understands the club.
Mancini - better than what we have and out of work, although he is a prick
Rijkaard - resurrected barca and won a CL, turned them into one of the best teams in the world. He speaks italian and understands serie a and italian culture. If we're going to turn our nose up at people like him then we should just run back to lippi.
C, F, V - Inexperienced but true Juventini's. Look what someone that understands a club can do: Guardiola @ Barca. Inexperience is no reason to rule someone out, otherwise no manager would ever manage a big club.
Schuster - I dont want him, but he is available
Going by what your saying you want an experienced coach, with a winning history who has coached in italy.... so Capello, Lippi and Ancellotti are our options yeah? All of whom are currently taken
he was commenting on our game yesterday for sky italia so i think he is still getting paid a lot of money
Worst example EVER! Guardiola was coaching the Barca B Team, so he knows 50% of the Barca team, and hasn't lost a game with them last year. He is a great coach, and showed that.
Seriously, you guys have forgotten about everything that has happend to this club. Realise, that we are not the team, we were before Caliopoli!
Realise that we don't have the squad to challange Inter at the moment!
We were 3rd last year, we did our best in CL and played great there, we are better in Serie A than last year, and we may win a trophy this year. If we can progress and get better every year, than I like it. I knew it would take a masterpiece for us to win the CL or the Scudetto. With the right additions to the team, we can become the same team or even better than before Serie B. But at the moment we are not in the position to ask for more. It will take at least another season.
AND.....the last one to blame is Ranieri. Players make stupid decisions, our defense makes huge mistakes and btw we played (beside Nedved) without our regular midfield and our best striker this season was injured on the bench. I hate the football fans, that scream to fire the coach, once a team doesn't deliver the needed results. Rome wasn't build in a day, and a coach needs time to really build a strong side.
We are the last ones to judge. We are not there every day on the training ground, we don't know what our players think of Ranieri and what kind of relationship they have with him. We are not in the dressing room, and can't judge if a coach can find the right words or not.
Pointing the finger is easy. Coming up with or coaches names is easy too. But nobody can tell you 100%, that we would be better with a new coach.
Start to be realistic, watch the proression we are making (we are better this season than last season...) and lets wait after the summer.
One more thing: Giovinco was very good yesterday. But he isn't a winger, and we have seen him once on the right wing. Thats not his position, and he doesn't deliver anything for our defense, which was/is the weakest point of this team. Its not Giovinco or Marchionni, is Gio or Nedved, and Neddy was giving his very best out there yesterday.
